Fabulous place! There are lots of tasty cider varieties. They are dry ciders but have many levels of flavor: smooth vanilla, floral, tart, and barrel aged, etc. The baked goods that are brought in from Wandering Winds Farm were fantastic! The bartender was very friendly and gave great service.

I cannot say enough how welcoming and inclusive this space is. Each of the owners and the entirety of the staff take great pride in making everyone feel as if this space is a second home. Oh. And their cider is top notch—the owners definitely know what they’re doing and put their heart and soul into making every barrel.

I recommend PiF to everyone I know and all visitors I meet.

Best ciders in Michigan! Their ciders highlight the unique profile and flavors of each apple, and the owners are so knowledgeable and passionate about their craft. Great ambiance downtown as well, they frequently have live music, poetry open mics and other events. Truly a gem of a place that we are lucky to have in Alpena!

Hands down the best cider I have ever had! Not only do they have the best cider, but they also put on fun events for the community and give back to local non-profits in Alpena.

Just in case anyone was ever curious, you aren't missing a thing if you do not make a stop at Presque Isle Farm Cider.

Especially if you find an atmosphere that is as dry and anemic of taste as most of their "cider" products.

I am currently holding a yearly membership, which I have no intentions to renew this coming Appril when it expires.
But fool me once....
Never twice.

Maybe if the owners come down to a level in which they dob't think so "highly of themselves" and their "medal collecting," they might actually resemble something worth praising.

What is worth praising is the hired help.
It shows when you hire seasoned personnel who have been in the service industry for a number of years.

It would be truly interesting to find out if the owners have retained these assets or if it was just a fluke of convenience, which was simply discarded, just like my PIF Cider glass I received when I joined.

It is too bad, because as quiet that the place was during the daytime, it was a great place to read and prepare for training later on in the day. But, people are nosey and seem to feel as if they need to make a scene or interfere with you if your attention isn't drawn towards themselves.

Simply put, you may find yourself being harassed if you do not look like someone who belongs there. Without valid reasoning.

Which, in turn, in this case, makes them appear nothing more than "want to be snobs" or "clique" in a small little city of
10, 000 people with many formidable
issues pressing the community economically, educationally, and healthwise.

They could be much more.

Love this place! One of the only places open on Sunday which is a-ok with me. The ciders are unique and well-curated. I love dry ciders those is the place for me! The owners and staff are outstanding and knowledgeable. It’s great to enjoy a place that isn’t a cookie cutter of everything else out there.

I am not a huge Cider drinker but I do really enjoy the non-sparkling options they have available, especially because I love coming here for atmosphere so much. It makes a small city feel BIG. Any negative feedback here appears to be from small-town, small-minded locals because there is nothing to complain about with their product, environment, or ownership.

Note: The food they offer is great but this was more of a drink spot at the time of my last visit.
