I’ve been their customer for 10+ years and they have always been honest, professional and reliable.
Lately, my Koi pond’s pump just quit working and in the heat, my koi fish couldn’t survive especially without the waterfall providing them with oxygen. They were immobile and wouldn’t eat their food.
I called Pool Star and provided them with the necessary information and the day after, the pump was installed and running. The owner couldn’t find a pump in town and actually drove out of town to pick one up. That’s how they value their customers.

Pool Star has been taking care of our pool for over five years. Actually, I should say that Pool Star has been taking care of us. This was our first pool and it had been neglected for many years before we purchased our home. It looks great now. The team at Pool Star has guided us through every needed repair, replacement and even the transition from a chlorine system to a salt chlorinator. The service they provide goes well beyond weekly cleaning. Kelly and Johnny actually monitor what is happening with the pool and report their concerns to us and the ever watchful Minerva. Pool Star has the in house capability to install new equipment when necessary and the technicians are careful to explain the available alternatives and the relative cost of different approaches. If something goes wrong they are by your side until the problem is solved. When a piece of equipment, that was still under warranty, failed Minerva kept after the manufacturer until it met its obligations and provided the necessary part to make the repair. Pool Star’s vigilance through the years has been extraordinary. When we are away Minerva will alert us if anything is amiss. The Pool Star team consistently goes above and beyond. Pool Star deserves the “Best of Fountain Hills Award” because it is the best.

Our pool had an older style Pebble Tec rolled bond beam and surface that was in pretty rough condition. Our filter and pump were also having issues. Pool Star chipped it all out and installed Travertine coping and face tile, water line tile and new Tahoe Blue mini Pebble Tec along with splitting the main drain, replacing the old pump and filter along with some water feature repiping and valving. Randy worked through the entire process making sure we were comfortable with the entire job and all the finishes. In fact, we actually cancelled the job last minute back in March 2020 due to COVID and Randy was fully understanding about the situation. We opted to proceed with the work later in the year when things leveled out a bit more. Randy and the crew were always very professional and completed the entire job in a timely manner. We're very happy with the end results. Unfortunately the finished picture doesn't do it justice. We highly recommend the team at Pool Star.
