We have been coming to The Pinery Del Mar for 4 years now to get our Christmas tree. The trees are fresh and well taken care of. Rick and his team are amazing!! If I’m having trouble finding the perfect tree,, Rick and his team will walk through the lot with me and pull trees out for me to make sure I find the perfect tree. The trees are in stands which makes it easy to see the whole tree. The customer service at The Pinery is exceptional, you won’t find better. It’s not just searching for a tree, it’s the start of very merry Christmas season for us. It’s our family tradition.

I bought my tree about a week ago and it is already starting to turn brown. I have been checking the water every day but haven’t needed to refill the water because the tree isn’t drinking any. 2 stars instead of 1 because the people running the place were very nice

Nice selection of trees but my 7ft Noble only lasted 3 weeks with frequent watering then it stopped absorbing water altogether. So it was dry for Xmas. I was expecting a longer lifespan of 4-5 given the trees had just arrived when we purchased. Last year’s tree was also a Noble from another vendor and lasted 5 weeks with minimal care.

Very friendly people. Reasonable prices for what you get. Nice selection of quality trees. Plenty of parking. Parking lot was a large undeveloped lot of sand and from recent rains a bit damp. Not terribly muddy but if it rains, you might want a good pair of boots. Much nicer and less crowded to buy a tree here than the usual home improvement stores.
