Picked up New York strip, ribeye, and sirloin steaks earlier this week by recommendation. I have to say this establishment may look unpretentious, but don't be deceived; those were the best steaks our family has enjoyed in years! They were well marbled, flavorful, and tender! We will be repeat customers.

Thumb on the scale. I've been coming here for years, especially for their meat. However, I bought some "redneck sausage" a couple weeks ago and it was watered down. The sausage pattie would not hold its shape while cooking, disintegrating to mince. A couple minutes later, the sausage was swimming in all the water in the skillet. Raised the price and watered it down to boot.

This is a GREAT place. I especially love their pizza's & subs. Everyone is friendly, helpful and professional. I recomended some fellow veterans from the Kent County Veterans Honor Guard to this place and they were extremely impressed, especially for their Teriyaki & Pineapple Bratts.

I got to tell it's hard to find good old school service, this place I call topshelve service, because when I first walk in I was kindly greeted and ask if needed help so I ordered a few beef sticks, as I was looking around two more womem greeted so then I decided to order a pizza and I have to say the chef is topshelve service. Great job people 💯👍👍

I come here to Pierson on the weekends and order pizza from here and the pizza is great unfortunately there is an older women that works here with grey/brown hair that always comes off as quite rude to me every single time and I’m not sure why…. Very big mouth. I observe her treating other costumers well but when it comes to me she is just quite bitter. All the other employees are very kind.

The Trading Post is the place to go if you need any type of meat and you'll never find a better place to buy homemade jerky. Even my 9yr old calls it "The Special Jerky Store". And I've been taking my 16yr old there to get jerky since she was a toddler as well.
Highly recommend!!
