Patel Bros. Is a fantastic grocery and culturally specific emporium.
From exotic imported fruits and vegetables to all the local varieties available under one roof.
Patel's kitchen is the Gujarati answer to an American Deli. Fresh made chapati and paratha, ready made veggie entrée along with a fabulous variet of baked & fried goods. You need Desi cooking utensils or a cricket bat, it's all at Patel's, my family have shopped there since it opened, we no longer need to drive to Devon to do grocery shopping.
I'll let you into a little secret, whenever I'm on an extended assignment in other states, as soon as I find my work venue and accommodation, i Google Patel Brothers, to see if there is a store anywhere close by. I dropped lucky in North Carolina and a couple of big cities here & there. It certainly makes life on the road more pleasurable, to be able to find foods I like.

Knowledgeable about inventory but like Costco, you get your own thing and ask for help only if you really need it. They have a clean restroom for those emergency visits. Unbeatable price on fresh produce, groceries and Indian and Asian household and kitchen commodities. They do speak Gujarati and have Punjabi staff working so any language no problem they can answer your questions.

I would give negative (-) star if the platform allowed. They were recently fined $250,000 in NJ when they HIKED up prices of their groceries three times over. Be careful and do not buy any unmarked item, they will charge you out of their ass. Specially be careful of the main lady. Go to "New India Bazar" next door. Go to any other Indian store.

Better than apana mandi. There is special discount, almost every other day of the month. Do check the expiry dates for any item on sale
