Second time visited them this time. Not as impressive as when we visited very first time about an years ago. But the price still amazingly good!! ! !

If you are shopping for succulents, this is the place to go. They have lots of varieties and in different sizes of plants for you to pick and choose. some small size is only for $0.50 each. Most of them are an dollar or two. Gallon size of succulent are may be $5~6.00 each.

They have lot less other leafy plants this time, maybe the season? Or they just ship out large quantities of the plants out? I'm don't know. We saw lots empty table this time.

My experience coming here is like no other nurseries that I've been to. I've been coming here in the past 3 years. I have always been extremely happy 😊 like a little girl in a candy shop. Lol. These pictures are just some of the plants that ive purchased from Ortegas nursery. Ive grown them for about 2 years. I highly recommend this place for sure.

I have been here a few times over the last year or so and came home with a trunk load of plants each time. Large selection of healthy succulent plants. They have some regular plants too. Prices are terrific. The only downside is that there are no plant tags. The plants available changes a bit each time.

One of the best nurseries in the county.
The prices blow the others out of the water. Don’t be fooled by the rough exterior, this is one of the biggest and best around. Seasonal timing effect the types of plants offered as well as the quality and quantity but that’s true for any nursery.
They seem to always have an impressive selection of succulents and hot peppers.

My girlfriend loves this place. We’ve been here multiple times for succulents. They have very affordable prices and an amazing selection to choose from. It is more than an hour for us to travel here from where we live but it’s totally worth it. When you pull up, don’t let the first impression of this place fool you, it’s amazing once you get inside.

This is my favorite nursery in Santa Cruz county. If you are a seller this place is amazing to get inventory from! They are open to the public so you don't need an appointment to visit They have multiple giant greenhouses full of cactus, succulents, house plants, garden plants and dirt for you garden. It is a family owned business and they are all so friendly and helpful. The prices are amazing! Definitely a fun place to go and spend hours looking at plants.

Awesome selection of succulents and prices can't be beat! lots of $1 & $2 choices to choose from. Bring cash and a BIG empty box to bring your babies home 🙂
