I've been searching for my go-to restaurants since I got here. Then I learned that people drive from Redding to Shasta Lake for their Chinese food.
I cannot believe how much food they cram into the box. It's literally the shape of the box when you open it. They must fill both sides and slam it closed.
Theres big chunks of quality vegetables and meat everywhere. This produce is fresh and it shows. It crunches, the celery CRUNCHES! It's soooo delicious.
When I first heard about it, I wasnt sure, because they were in a building attached to a gas station. I was like idk bro... but yes, bro. Yes. It's a testament to how good their food tastes. They graduated to a really nice location now, which is here.
The new dining room is beautiful with really lovely abalone artwork. It's squeaky clean.

The first couple of times, the food was ok. I hopping it would become better because of all the good reviews. I have had a lot better from Panda Express. The price is not worth the disappointment. I tried and tried again in hopes of better service and better tasting food. Rude people and the food taste like days old left overs that was left in the fridge. Don’t waste your money. If owe it to yourself to get better tasting food.

I don’t know how this place has these reviews. I ask for a mango tea they gave me a mango smoothie. When I told her I had asked for a mango tea she said it comes blended, lmao. When did that happen, it clearly says in their menu mango tea with or with boba and underneath it it has smoothies. The was not good at all I only ate a bit because I was starving and even then I even caught some allergic reaction since my throat started feeling tight. Not sure what they are cooking with or if they cooked the calamari where they cook the shrimp. I also stated to her I was allergic to shrimp when she offered shrimp. I highly don’t recommend this place! I literally ate a bit of it after my long drive down from Tacoma, WA because I was hungry and already paid $31 and change for it. After I through the rest away which was almost everything and the smoothie as well. When they saw that they just said have a nice day lmao. Whatever! I don’t right much reviews but i needed to write this one!

Decent food but not for that price, we got a smoothie for 5.99 it was so small and not worth it, we also got a beef Broccoli, the broccoli was so hard and not cooked the rice tasted weird, and they also gave us no forks or napkins. Overall just not a good experience

My first impression of the restaurant is that they had a nice variety of foods and the dining area looked pretty nice. I took pics while waiting for our order to share my observations; i'll get back to this later.

Food is pretty good for the price. Large portions, food seems to be prepared at such a fast pace. The vegetables are placed in each dish rather chunky so it is pretty difficult to serve with the simple plastic utensils that they provide you with. We ordered the almond chicken, the potstickers, the general tao chicken, the vegetable fried rice, the pork chow mein and brocoli beef. My favorite was the potstickers, almond chicken and general tao chicken and pork chow mein). I ordered mostly from reading the reviews that others had posted so thanks to the other foodies like me.) the were a party of 4 not including a young child (4.5) The child was really keen on the potstickers. Anyways, based on reviews i understand why people generally eat out bc they lack proper serving spoons, food isn't well mixed; u have a fork and spoon and styrofoam plates. The portions themselves were so big that i think our party could still be eating the leftovers for two more days. The bill came to about 90$. Really really cheap; think that the restaurant owners are really humble and considerate to customers. Even the cold refrigerated drinks near the cash register for customers to buy are thoughtfully priced and less than you'd expect to pay for bottled drinks in other restaurants. I could see us coming back. I recommend this restaurant to others for being a honest thoughtful business.

My friend took me here for a quick lunch. Learned they had relocated and today was 1st day new location. Spacious new area that was cozy and comfortable. We ordered a combo special to dine in and found a seat. I thought we would be going back to counter when food was ready in 10 min but nope. The lady brought us both a small bowl of egg drop chicken flavor soup to start. OMG! It was sooo delicious! Light n refreshing and WE both had no idea we were as hungry as that soup had us feeling. So tasty it took major self control to not be animals and lick the deliciousness from the bowl! I want more just writing this. Then our combos were served up and we just savored each bite.
So tender, tasty and fresh. Perfectly spicy. Best lil hidden gem for chinese food!

I wanted it to be better than it was. It has high ratings, and it is very much a "hole in the wall" place which in my experience for Chinese food can be amazing. I like the options and I think the price is good. You also get a lot of food. Unfortunately I felt like the food didn't have a lot of flavor. I had just got back from a backpacking trip and I would imagine after that I would just think anything tastes incredible, but that wasn't my experience.

I still think if you are looking for some quick Chinese take out where you get a lot of food and have a lot to choose from this is still an excellent place! The people who run it are kind and have good service too.

Absolutely some of the best Chinese Food in shasta county at the price point. Great flavor, great quality, and great portions.
