I recommend at the highest level. Great store. Try their beef for sure. Produce is top notch. Prepared food is solid to very good. A jewel in Sonoma County. Crab now in season & they bring in daily from Bodega Bay. Did I mention I love this store?

I don't usually shop here but I was in the area and needed a few items. One item was half a pound of roasted turkey. I waited 20 minutes in line to order it and the another 20 minutes before they filled the order. They did say that the turkey had crumbled a bit and if I wanted them to replace it. But after 40 minutes of waiting, I didn't want to wait more! They should have never handed me the bag of turkey crumble. They should have replaced it without question!
Never again! If you want nicely sliced deli meat quickly served, Molsberry is always sliced perfectly and quick to help you!

My first visit to Oliver's. Seems everyone knew but me. What a wonderful treat. Everything you could possibly want from a grocery store and more. You could see, hear, feel, smell, and taste (oh yes, taste) the quality. Truly a great shopping experience.

I mean, it's Oliver's, so definitely high quality food with prices to match. The best produce in the county. Better than Andy's even, but only because Oliver's has buying power. Nearly Berkeley bowl quality even though they lack Berkeley bowl's variety. The bulk is cheap and good.

The highest shelves are a full 7 feet off the ground. That feels like it's by design. I definitely don't see any brown people shopping here, even if they are certainly slaving away here.

Places like Foodmax, the highest shelves are 5 foot. They welcome their shorter customers.

So products, 5 out of 5.
Prices, 3 out of 5.
Racism, 1 out of 5.

People anywhere near an Olivers are definitely spoiled, it is one of the best, cleanest and well stocked grocery store ever. The produce gleams and the selection enormous as is pretty much every other section. The meat is just breathtaking and they have a great deli section where they prepare food. I would say they out do Whole Foods at what they are famous for. Best of all is the service. Every employee is happy with a smile answering every question happily. Make sure you try an Oliver’s when you can, you’ll be glad you did.

Customer service has tanked over the past 10 years I've been going here, tragically. I don't expect nor want to be fawned over like royalty, but I do expect NOT to be spoken to with outright contempt and rudeness. Visits here are a crap shoot, half the employees are wonderful to interact with, the other half are bitter misanthropes who don't feel any need to hide how tedious they find their job and how much they disdain speaking to you. I'd been getting this crappy vibe for the last few years but didn't want to leave a bad review assuming maybe they just got a bad crop of workers, but the antagonistic and insulting interaction my girlfriend had at the burrito bar today makes this necessary.

We'll be making the longer drive to Big Johns from now on for our groceries.
