It was okay, but definitely lacked flavor. The vinegar BBQ sauce helped a bit, but overall, it was somewhat disappointing. I expected more, especially given its reputation in Redding CA. That said, the service was great

I've lived all over the US and eaten some of the best BBQ the Texas and the south have to offer. Odell's has the best tri-tip, and smoked chicken I've ever had.

Can't wait to see how this place grows going forward. Live music and/or beers on tap would make this a world class BBQ joint.

We had Odell’s cater our Christmas party this year. The food was amazing. Can’t say enough good things about the quality and presentation of everything.

The gentleman who served us was friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and genuine. He made a good experience; the best experience.

We will def be using Odell’s craft bbq in the future.

I was passing through on a road trip and this place came up on my Google search for BBQ and it was highly rated so I wanted to give it a try. I walked and waited in what I perceived to be a line. I waited over 5 minutes and no one said a word to me(at this point I'm the only one waiting my the cash register). Another gentleman walked in(he was white) and he was immediately greeted it was only then that someone finally spoke to me which was the girl that made eye contact with me several times and looked disgusted that I was there. This is when I was finally told that basically everything was sold out.

The BEST bbq, my go to lunch on Fridays for the brisket sandwich🤤 also love the tri tip, mac n cheese, broccoli salad… honestly anything they make.

Always the best going to events that have Odell’s catering. Highly recommend either as a lunch on Thursday/Friday or to cater your event, they’re pros at what they do!

Delicious. And not busy at all. Small spot but size doesn't matter for this place. As close to Texas bbq as i've had here in Cali thus far. We went around 5ish on a Thursday for that... they had no brisket left.. My favorite. And apparently everyone elses as well. The ribs were literally melting off the bone. They were a hit with the family. Tri tip was good. I didnt even try the bbq sauce because it wasn't needed. Sides were good as well. I can't wait to try them again when I am over that way and go early enough to catch a pound or so of the brisket!

Odell's is the kind of place that makes vegetarians regret their life choices. This is seriously the best BBQ I've ever had. I will be making the four hour trip from the Bay area to return.
