What a wonderful variety of trees indigenous to the southwestern US. Gary was very knowledgeable and helped us purchase at least a dozen varieties of trees for our mobile home park. If I could, I would give Oaks of the Wild West 10 stars!

We visited this lovely little nursery yesterday. What a great find and in my own neighborhood too! Gary has a wealth of tree knowledge and the trees on his property are just gorgeous. We bought an Apache Pine, Arizona Sycamore, Bicolor Oak and Curly willows. Great prices, lively conversation and I learned a lot, what else can you ask for? I will definitely be back!

Fabulous old-time nursery which grows their own trees you can hardly find elsewhere. Gary knows his plants and trees and is willing to share his expertise. We had a great visit with him and it was worth the drive! We called before we went and then when we got there so that he was ready for us. Came home with 2 Emory Oaks and a Corkscrew Willow.

This home-based nursery specializes in native trees of the Southwest and has a great selection of unusual plants, especially oaks, junipers, etc. You can find varieties here that you won’t get at Home Depot or Ace Garden Center. I’ve bought about 20 items so far and all have thrived.

The owner, Gary Foss, is also incredibly knowledgable and helpful. He grows the plants right on the property.

BUT NOTE: This small specialized nursery, which also does mail order and provides trees for larger clients such as revegetation projects, is open to the public — but you need to call first to make an appointment.

Probably good in its day...now a dying nursery.
Plants not marked or priced. Some trees dead, root bound- some grown through pot into ground. Even driveway over grown ...brush scratching truck on way in/out.

Ordering was drawn out a bit then I received a broken oak & a promised replacement for $5. I was trying to set up the $5 replacement and got no response in over a week.

Drove to this “business”, rang the bell on the gate, rang the doorbell for the house... Nothing! There was a truck in the drive but no one around. Called the number from the sign on the gate but got no answer. Not a legitimate business in my opinion!
