Such an affordable restaurant where you can get authentic Chinese hot pot! Recommended the pepper pork belly chicken broth. It’s a little spicy because of the pepper but it’s really tangy and you can get chicken chunks inside the soup. As for the skewers, I like the tripe, mala beef with okra, bean curd, and their veggies. Apart from the skewers, they also provide side dishes such as seaweed, peanuts, dry beef, desserts, and fruits. This is my second time dining at this restaurant and I do enjoy my experience here.

The choices for Chinese hot pot here in Los Angeles are kind of limited (there are probably only five that are worth going to?), especially when you want the ones that are delicious and don't make you feel like you'd just splurged on a meal? Then, look no further then Nice 2 Meet U (那年遇见)！This place can get really crowded at dinner time! Nevertheless, the constant long lines are definitely justified 👌! The place is clean, and their customer service is great and very responsive. Moreover, the atmosphere here is pretty cozy even when it's crowded because everyone seems to be enjoying their meals🤤!

Moving on to their food, the skewers are priced at $0.45 each and the one that can add up to your bills at the end are the colored plates (3/4 plates would already cost you $30 or more). As for the broth, if you choose to go for the spicy beef oil flavor and unless you are good at eating spice, then you'd better pick the mildest spice level available because it can get really spicy. I have personally tried the bone broth, but they tend to be left untouched because I would just dip all of my skewers on the spicy 🔥🌶️ broth! They also have side dishes right in front of the entrance which you can get for a fixed price, so get them to your heart's content!

Food I would recommend:
- Pork intestines (10/10): When I am driving to this restaurant, this is all I could think about!
- Spicy beef (10/10): My second favorite meat!
- Frozen Tofu (10/10): The ones served here just taste special!
- Original Fried Rice (10/10): Not only do they taste good, but they also help to reduce the spice numbness in your mouth!

Nevertheless, if there's something that I wish could be done better, then it's the fact that they don't seem to have exhausts in the restaurant. Therefore, as it gets crowded, you would notice that the place might get really smokey!

Finally, this is a must try for Chinese hot pot lovers! You would not be disappointed!

The food is good. The seats feel too small and tight. I am 5'9, and I felt a bit squeezed in. It would have been nicer if there was more room. The food is good. I enjoyed it.

They have a great Ice Tea lemon drink here. Great taste.

It is amazing all the variety of items that they have for you to choose, very nice way to have hotpot with the ingredients on a stick, I really recommend this place, also, very convenient for people that don’t know how to use chopsticks 🥢

Good experience for the real Sichuan style hotpot. The spicy broth could be quite spicy. You scan the QR code to order some basic things and the broth. Then take a tray to pick up the skewers to cook at your table. The price was not well marked, especially for the things in the containers. Not all you can eat. At the end, the server will count the skewer stick to calculate the total amount you need to pay. Could be pricey if eat a lot. Free desserts at the entrance. Interesting experience.

Second time eating at Nice 2 Meet U and we decided to go off hours for lunch. There was no wait getting a table even though it was Chinese eve New Year.
I highly recommend that you try this restaurant. Get there early because of the crowds. It is pricey.

Very authentic Chinese Sichuan style hot pot, there are dishes that are served directly on the plate, and dishes that use bamboo skewers, the price is very cheap, and the taste is also delicious. There are also many free snacks, especially chicken feet and sweet ice jelly. The interior environment is very characteristic and the lanterns are beautiful. The only downside is that there are too many seats and the seats are very close.

Really good hot pot place with skewers. Each skewer is 45 cents. Some plate dishes can be expensive. The median spicy was quite spicy for me. Overall a fun a tasty experience
