On Friday, my sister and I went to celebrate our book reading and went to New Union to grab a beer.

I am a person with a service dog, and another hander was with me.

Instead - we were refused service. Despite attempting to educate the bar tender who asked many illegal questions, and not a single legal question, and then proceeded to refuse to serve us beer stating, “Listen lady, I’m just trying to pour beer here.” Because of his continued ableism, I took this photo.

Yeah, dude. I was literally just trying to have a beer as a person with a disability. Thankfully, we went to Hop Hog down the street whose staff was trained much better and we got our beer.

If I could give it ten stars I would. Great beer, friendly atmosphere, food friendly. It is rare to find a brewery where every single beer is a home run, but somehow New Union has done it.

New Union is quickly putting itself on the map with tasty, well-crafted brews like this juicy, chewy Unnamed NEIPA. This might be heaven on earth. Don’t miss this little gem of a taproom!

The New Union Brewery is our go-to in the area for outstanding craft beers, wine, ciders, spritzers, seltzers, root beer, and birch beer. Each selection is delicious and consistent. There is a choice of indoor or outdoor seating and a food truck on-site offering delicious pizza. Thank you all at The NUB for great service, too!

Beers were really delicious and a large selection from lagers, ales, sours IPAs and even a Nitro stout! They have a nice outside section with picnic tables , fire pit, and corn hole.
Yummy homemade local tacos on Tuesday as well!
