Hidden gem tavern. Can get pretty busy with a mix of locals, wedding guest from a nearby venue and the people spending a weekend in the area but man is it a fun little joint. Seating indoors and out for those cool mountain nights. Pool and touch tunes what else do you need? Cash only but ATM on site. Food was good and portions are large.

Went two night as it was a short walk from our place of stay. Excellent time. Food was great, people were friendly but mostly blow away about how they put a tortilla under the nachos. Mind ?. Worth the stop if you love a good small town bar.

This is a great lil local tavern. Ignore the hateful reviews. I had the special green Chile tacos and my wife had a hamburger. Both were tasty.
This place was a simple tavern with friendly people. 5 min from kachina village... Will be back!

To be fair, they may have been understaffed.
The bar was full but there was one table occupied. I came in at 2:30 PM hungry and wanting to drink after a good meal.
I waited 13 minutes then left after not being served. Been hiking through the forest almost a month now. Just wanted a meal I didn't have to prepare outdoors and perhaps imbibe a bit.

My favorite bar. Great people + excellent atmosphere. Plus it only takes me 5 minutes to walk there, and 45 minutes to walk home. The difference is staggering! Bwahaha ? Go get a beer

I ordered a pepperoni pizza and I got this. A little different from pepperoni pizzasa back home, but I gave it a shot. The pineapple was a unique twist but I like my pepperoni as usual. I just picked off the pineapples and ate them later. The pizza was great! The only inconvenience was that it's "cash only" they do have an ATM so that helps.

Under new management! Great vibe... Perfect mountain town dive bar. Delicious burgers and pizza! (Kitchen open til 9) Serious pool competition if you dare to challenge the locals... They will also dare you to do the birthday "Running Bare"! (Yes bare, not bear) The Tav is always so much fun!!!

Mean to dogs despite having bowls and beds at the front. Clearly this place blows. Weak drinks even the dog’s water was watered down.

This place has a lot of hate and it is warranted.

Side note, the staff lives in 2020 and follows Fauci’s guidelines and still take his anti-AIDs medications.
