Nice grocery store in San Mateo near 42nd Avenue and El Camino Real. Large selection of vegetables, fruits, meats, seafood, bakery items, frozen foods, desserts, canned goods, as well as wines, beers, and spirits. Large parking lot makes it easy to find parking.

Mollie Stone’s has a good selection and a pleasing layout. However, it is very overpriced…The prices are truly astonishing. But for the cost, you find high quality foods. I’d recommend going here for specialty stuff like meats and fancy cheeses, and buying brand name stuff somewhere cheaper.

This grocery store is a good hidden gem for beer! They have a ton of Original Pattern 4-packs and Bare Bottle singles. They also have your typical Whole Foods-esque grocery selection which is nice to have nearby as another option- especially since it’s usually not crowded!

Fruit and vegetable staff never appear happy. Meat market dwindling. Beer section offers phone number to text questions but NO ONE ever responds.
Clerks are personable.

Good store to have around. A lot of great items that can’t be found in other stores.
However, I wouldn’t recommend buying dairy there. Every time I bought cheese there it had mold and was expired. So definitely look at the expiration date.

Great place to get groceries in Belmont/ San Mateo. They have a wide variety of options to choose from for fruits, vegetables, dairy products, alcohol & even deli items. They also have a Starbucks on-site to get coffee if you want to/ need to while shopping for your groceries.
