Honestly if you’re seeing this review, I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you care about the quality of the ingredients. The food does not taste flavorful or authentic. It’s not a terrible taste it’s just okay. It’s also expensive compared to a taco vendor. Just go there instead you’ll get your moneys worth. 🙏🏾

I get a chicken burrito from here every couple of weeks and they never miss, it’s always great. Don’t bother with any other salsa, just get the peach habanero. That stuff alone is worth the trip. A+ spot. My only wish is that they would add flour tortillas as an option.

The food is good. But, the guacamole has way too large pieces of cilantro that even include the stem of the cilantro. Proper chopping of the cilantro for the guacamole would be appreciated.

Healthy Mexican food stand in Silver Lake. Came here for a casual dinner with a friend on a Thursday evening and ate at their outdoor area. No indoor dining available. There is a parking lot behind the restaurant but it’s a bit tight. There is a bathroom and it’s very clean - props to the team for that. I got a vegan burrito with the peach habanero salsa - it’s on the smaller side but it is indeed healthy. My friend for some tacos along with a side of corn. I also got a dairy-free horchata that was a good level of sweetness. Credit cards accepted. Takeout is also available.

I used to love coming to Mixto but I went back recently and the owner (or manager im not sure) was saying horrible things to the staff. Then I saw him put his hand in a customers food and eat some of it because he "wanted to try for himself". No one should eat here
