The food here is great for a hole in the wall place. Tacos are delicious and at a great price, I believe it was either $2.25 or $2.50 each. Service is fast.

For groceries, I would shop elsewhere unless you really need something quick. Prices are a bit steep due to the convenience.

If you like street tacos, this is a hidden Gem. You would not expect a full blown taco set up, but they have all the fixings. The portions are huge and the meat is not overly seasoned. You get to taste the freshness of the cuts. I go here pretty often because you get a good price for a hearty dose of deliciousness!!

Authentic Mexican food and market. One of the best kept secrets in Simi Valley, this mercado is one of my first "go-to's" when someone is in the mood for mexican food. Also, they have really good flan, burritos, and horchata.

Friendly staff, went there for their hot foods (my first time ever) over priced and not very tasty, ordered chicharron chile verde plate ( pork cracklings in green sauce ) tough to chew, and some pieces of meat were extremely dry.

It's Christmas Eve and I doubted that I'd find good tamales so late. But, they had them! And, they are delicious! I also HAD to try the carnitas, and OMG!! So delicious!! The service is outstanding. The staff are friendly. The prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this place. Can't wait to go back and explore the market...and, of course, eat more food!
