Local Meat Market. Eastpointe.

I needed some filet mignon to sauté up for a hibachi fried rice, so I hand picked a filet for 17$, I was not disappointed. Thank you Marios.

I noticed a couple other items I may want in the future. They had some ground pork I may pick up for some pork potstickers. 🥟

Not much of a vegetable selection, not a knock just a note. Celery, Potatoes, Onions (no green, which I needed, doh).

Grabbed a bag of Better-Made BBQ chips & a spicy Marconi Giardiniera for my Mortadella sandwich at home. I do what I can to support local businesses.

Friendly Butchers. Equally nice cashier.

What comes first for me is everyone who works there. Amazing, friendly and helpful, especially Janice at the checkout. I've been coming here for so many years, of course for the meat (big shout out for those brisket burgers and bone-in chicken breasts) but it is also such a pleasure to be greeted with smiles and helpfulness! I miss Mario but I know he is looking down from heaven so proud of his family, not only related by blood but also the rest of his store family!

They are the best! Coming here for 16 years and still top notch. Try their homemade sausage and get the brisket burgers, you'll never be able to eat a regular hamburger again. Great staff as well!

Friendly and knowledgeable counter associates. Friendly butchers. Great prices on frozen chuck. Yes, it is frozen, but it still works in a sauce. The sausage is superb. I love the Italian with green peppers and onions. The cashiers are friendly. It truly is a butcher shop with great service. I have not had recalled meat from here like the big box retailers. Get to know your butcher. The store also has a great selection of pasta products.

We love Mario's. We get here about once a month, just 2 of us and we stock the freezer. Staff is always very helpful and friendly. We always have a good size order and have never felt that we are being annoying. We used to go to Marco's on 9 mile before they closed (recommended) but Mario's selection is better.

I found Marios last year, and I find a lot of stuff I can't find at the grocery store. I gotta say the red head behind the counter is the best! She is always so friendly and helpful! I recommend checking them out.

Mario's is by far the best meat market in the neighborhood. Great prices, staff, and quality of products. On Wednesday's their head butcher sharpens my Global knives for $2 a knife. I don't buy meat from anywhere but Mario's. If you buy 10 lbs of FRESH boneless skinless chicken breasts it's $2.49 a LB. Can't beat that, especially if you're like me and have dogs that require special diets. Marios rocks!!!!
