Hands down the best butcher in Manhattan Beach and arguably the best butcher in all of the South Bay. We've been going to Manhattan meats for the last 20 years and it has never disappointed. The reliability and consistency is impeccable! Love this place 💕

Love this place. I work near by and this is my go too place. Has the best priced sandwiches around, and never skimp out on the meat! Staff are always so kind and super helpful. Great place to grab dinner, with wide variety of meat options at a great price. Has good stock of snacks and drinks even while their building the store.

We are staying in Manhattan Beach for a month and looked for a local butcher. Found Manhattan Meats and stopped by. It’s a combo meat market (you pay for your meat purchases at the meat counter) and a small market, so very convenient. I picked up their housemade sausage and we were very impressed, fresh and very well made and seasoned. Their steaks and 1/2 pound burgers looked amazing, as well as their fish selection. They also had natural chicken, rotisserie chicken and seasoned kebabs. Love the old-fashioned customer service.

I love going there. Love bringing friends there. What a great place to communicate with very polite, helpful and knowledgeable stuff. Everything I buy there is straight out of heaven. Vegetarians, be aware, trying their bacon burger may convert you to meat aficionados! I have not cooked many burgers in my life, but I tried to eat a lot. On the picture is the one I cooked myself and it was one of the best burgers I had in my life.

I very rarely write reviews but just had to say ..WOW! I had one of the best steaks I ever cooked from them. Just moved to MDR and was searching for a good meat market and I will for sure be going back. I have tired many others in W. LA and all the high end grocery markets and I am very impressed (always thought Harris Ranch was the gold standard)

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! My wife, kids and I were leaving for our noon road trip up north and we ordered a Club and Roast beef sandwich to go. We had not eaten that day, and ate the sandwiches on the road. We were fine until 11 pm in bed when I woke up a hurled violently what what’s in my stomach. I didn’t stop there, this went on all throughout the wee hours of the night! Both orally and otherwise! And for my wife as well!! Never will I order anything from this place again!

Best rib eye that we ever had. Everyone in my family kept commenting on how good they were. They are pretty thick so we sliced them in half long ways and BBQ them. One steak feeds 2 people with normal appetites. We will definitely be back.

Dean and team have the best meat around, always fresh, great advice and great service. Steaks, tri-tip, , fish, and the best bacon burgers anywhere. Also great fresh made sausage. Don't forget the side dishes like their baked beans and fresh salsa. An institution that lives up to its reputation every time.
