I waited to give a review of Mama Rosa's Pizzeria for a couple of days. Some places you have a hard time remembering the pizza. Not here. Very good. It's worth getting the flavored garlic crust. I couldn't finish the whole thing and had leftovers the next day. Heated up in the microwave, and it was still good. Nice to have a local pizza place and options from all of the chains.

I ordered a carryout pepperoni Detroit style deep dish pizza. Despite it being delivered it was still good. The crust was really good. The sauce was really good. It could have used more sauce. The cheese was nice and tasty and the pepperoni was on point. I would definitely go back.

Takeaway. Mama Rosas used to be dine in but now it’s just for takeout. But it’s more than just a pizza joint. Pastas abound and the salads are better than what you get at a pizza joint. If you’re next door at the Cabbage Patch you can order a Mama Rosa and be in Cabbage Patch heaven! I think my favorite thing was how fast the pizza came out!

I had my order delivered twice tonight due to inaccuracy, and it was still prepared wrong the second time. I’m usually a grateful, loyal fan of Mama’s, but the fact that 1) the manager wanted the first order of food returned, which I reported I had already touched, started to eat before error was recognized (SAID RETURN OF SOLD FOOD IS ILLEGAL), and 2) I could hear the employees bitching and yelling about me in the background when I called to make them aware means I may be ordering pizza from somewhere else from now on.

I didn't get the pizza but I did get the fries and the barbecue with the coleslaw and it was lovely I enjoyed it I wish I could order some more but my money is kind of funny right now love you guys peace out

They have the Monday special 2 toppings large $9.99 Ask for extra cheese the price jump up to $5 more. I asked her how much is extra cheese, She said $3. But She can't figure out why the price was higher. I said can you get a manager to fix it, She was like no no it's something else. I said okay fix it so the price be right She said she can't fix it that's the price now. She said they knock off $4 off the pizza. The original price is $20 - $4. I'm like that's still not $9.99 You giving me a different deal now That don't make no sense. I got so frustrated because she was scared to get the manager, I don't know why..

I told her I'm about to head to Markie's pizza, they use the same ingredients. Pizza taste just like yours. Go to Markie's pizza they are in Warren on 9 Mile. When you ask for extra cheese they're not going to charge you $5 more same tasting pizza.

Let me just say this resturant has some of the best if not the BEST Italian food I've ever had in my life, the chicken parmesan and the mostaccioli are two menu highlights! You CANNOT go wrong by choosing mama rosas!
