Prices are high. Staff was rude. Seemed to be two people working, although one disappeared as soon as it got busy at the register.

At first, I took about twelve hangers of clothing up to the counter and handed them to the clerk…no customers waiting to be checked out. Told her I’d let her get started on those while I shopped in baby section. I’m thinking I’m being helpful so someone else doesn’t have to wait behind me for hangers to be removed, clothing folded, etc. I come up with my hands full again ready to check out.

I’m told by clerk (older lady) that they prefer that all purchases be brought up at once. I reply that my hands were full. She said “we do have carts.” I shrug and say, well I’m ready to check out now. Purchased over $200 and she seemed put out to have to wait on me. Three customers pile up in line behind me. I can only imagine how long it would have taken if I hadn’t brought the first load up early.

She said they didn’t have big enough bags for all I’d bought and I’d prob have to make multiple trips to get it out to my car, almost as if to discourage me from buying it.

I said I’d pay so she could wait on the next customer, and that I’d go out to my car and get my own bags. So I go out to the car and return…she says that she found two items in the pile that I hadn’t paid for. So I pay for those and bag it all. In the meantime, she had made the other customers wait in line while I was getting the bags, even though the clothing was paid for (except the two items she’d missed) and waiting on the counter for me to bag.

Inefficient, impolite, and over priced. After getting home and trying on, I’ll be returning some of the items.

After being treated rudely at the fabric store next door as well, I’ve decided Spring Lake isn’t worth a return visit.

Very well organized and clean store. I will say though, prices are high for a thrift store and I’ve been to many thrift stores! For example, $52 for a pair of men’s Skechers slip ons. Lower the prices and you’ll sell more!

Prices are very HIGH. When I think of "upscale resale" I think designer, high quality, or good brands. This shop has none of those things, just high prices. Example, a Jennifer Lopez cheetah print top from 2010 for $9.95. Chicos top for $24. Why? This place gets everything for FREE, it's a thrift store. Maybe why the place is usually empty.

Just so disappointed with this place. I've been going for years and don't ask me why I keep coming back. However no one and I mean NO ONE ever had welcomed me in the store or acknowledge me or even said Hi to me. I'm so upset that this keeps happening. I will not be back. It probably happens to everyone. It's not a welcoming location. Today is the last and I'm sad because I love supporting donation stores.

Cute stuff but staff was very rude and upset because I took an item off the cart of merchandise they were putting out. No need for the hostility towards customers for purchasing items.

Made another trip to this store and Ellen ( the lady from my previous experience) was once again super rude and acted like she inconvenienced that she had to do her job.

Love In Action, looking for nice items at reasonable prices, this is the place. Well lit store that is a pleasure to shop in. Love this place, love the offerings.

Great store have been going for a few years..Some staff are genuinely polite and happy to work there, I always look forward to seeing them. However there is a bad apple in the bunch ( there always is!!) s
he clearly does not enjoy working there , maybe a class/ trainin g in
customer service would help this gal out Or just quit? You would be happier I would think Good luck to you and I hope you find more peace than sorrow in your life❤✌

"Upscale" is usually when I expect to see top quality, current styles, or name brands. I saw none of those things. 𝘽𝙪𝙩, 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙨 𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙡𝙮 "𝙡𝙤𝙛𝙩𝙮"! Rubbermaid was priced as high or higher than new! It may be due to their prime downtown location, but there are definitely better options!
