Shout out to Lou’s pet shop for the wonderful customer service I’ve ever experienced. I recently inherited my grandfathers vehicle (he passed away in Florida) so my mom had the vehicle shipped from their to Michigan for me so I wouldn’t have to take time off work. A few things were sent home with the vehicle and one of those being a large anchor that my grandpa had outside of his house (he was a navy veteran). I was grabbing something from the back of the vehicle and moved the anchor a tad and there sat a baby anole with no tail 🙁 Anyways, I kept it for the weekend and made it a small home because it felt destined, like that was my grandpa. After a long weekend of feeding him from a q tip I called around to see if anyone would take him in and such. Lou’s was so phenomenal, answered all of my questions, showed me around their reptile area and where he would be homes. Honestly, I never knew a place like this existed so close to home. You can hold some animals and reptiles, there was a huge tortoise that walks around and birds out flying around. Definitely a cool place! Lots of families with their kids. Thank you Lou’s for being respectful and so pleasant!

This place is definitely very cool, especially if you have kids. They have little bunnies you can hold and a big fat bunny named future who walks around the store and is extremely friendly. A tortoise that walks around and acts like he knows exactly where he’s going. Lots of fish and cool reptiles. Definitely a cool little spot to stop by if you haven’t. Also the staff is nice as well, I don’t remember the name of the kind man who entertained my 3 year old and kept letting her give the bunny treats. Stop in and check it out.

Still just as amazing as the first time ilI came. Keep it up, Donnie and crew!
Very unique selection. Love my gliders, especially (playing favorites) my two new leucistic gliders. Have been purchasing my exotics from salamaders to sugar gliders from here for years and never had any issues. The owner and staff are very knowledgeable about what they sell and offer great answers and assistance. If you're looking for a new pet, some new toys for them, a new home, or a well-balanced diet for them, this is the place.

I really want to love this shop. I have bought many fish from here and supplies and the atmosphere is awesome and the people really care about the animals, but the last two batches of fish I’ve purchased have developed ich from Lou’s (Ember Tetras and Julii Cory Cats, respectively) . I have not had this issue from other shops like Stingray Bay or big box stores for my tanks. It’s been within three or four weeks of adding fish to my tank from Lou’s and it has always started with the newest Lou’s additions first. Definitely quarantine your fish after getting them from Lou’s. I’m assuming it’s a problem from their supplier.

It's not a bad pet shop the prices are really overboard on a pets very expensive and they take too much time with customers when there's people waiting to check out like I said part of the personal touch that they have too many questions to be answered at the counter when people are trying to check out

We give 5 star because in here, professional staff . We drove 1 hour there, we didn’t felt it was worth it. since it was raining. But we are very grateful for what we have received. It didn’t make us feel tired and from all the storms. We got so many knowledge for our first time taking care of these little bunnies species and how we have to take care of them here. Very nice staff, polite, great service. The things we didn’t thought right, they tried to help us to understand the right view. My children, are very happy and satisfied to get to take care and play with the bunnies. They always want to play with them! Every day and everywhere they will always want to play with them. Especially the little one here. The bunnies seem to be happy with their new home!
