The lady at the front forgot to mention that the tamales were old and they are obviously reheated in a bag, she also sold me a large champurrado in a freaking menudo cup instead of a regular drinking cup, the champurrado is extremely sweet and really watery, thats not a real champurrado, the tamales taste old too, had to throw everything away

Very friendly and helpful. The meat quality is outstanding and very fresh. It Doesn't have that "meat market" smell. It Does have All the necessities for a real authentic Mexican meal. A little bit expensive but to support a local family business I have no problem paying.

The one in Rosemead is better quality. I'm not sure what is going on at this location. The meat I bought which was hamburger meat, chuck roast steak thin sliced cut, and pork stew meat was disgusting. I threw it all away. Didn't even bother wasting my time taking back.

Best meat market in the San Gabriel valley. With 2 locations. I started at the Rosemead location and watched the El Monte location come alive from a dirt lot to a successful carneceria. A family bussinrss, with a story behind its successful bussiness. Started by the father and handed down to his sons who continue to run the bussiness. The marinated meat is tender and tasteful, There are various things with in the store you can't find in other markets. Prices are worth the quality of product. It's a must try, especially the marinated boneless chicken. Everything you need for your next BBQ.

Good selection of products for your next carne asada night. Although service can be improved upon. Guy that was servicing me had relatively low English skills. Not a deal breaker for me since place is conveniently located close to my friends crib.

Will be back sooner or later for more.

We get meat for various Mexican dishes at least twice a month from here. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and they have the best seasoned chicken (It's named Pollo Asada) I've ever tasted.
