We have made it a tradition to come here and get our Christmas tree for the past 6 years! It's so much fun and affordable, way better than going to over priced home depot or any parking lot tree selling business.

We came not too long before closing this because of my new work schedule, and the younger gentlemen that was working the kiosk was still super pleasant. He even made a nice holiday joke before we went in.

A lovely rustic tree farm run by a wonderful family. Just a few minutes from Highway 17. They provide a saw and set you on your way. Some nice views and terrain for exploring. Good variety of trees both small and huge

Super easy to social distance here. Lots of hairpin turns to get here. Bumpy roads definitely need a truck.

Good, laid back place as long as you don’t expect too much.

I’ve gotten my tree here the past 2 years. Windy road to get up there. They provide a saw which has always been good enough and will wrap tree. Make sure you bring roof straps.

It is on the side of a mountain so the dirt roads around it are fairly steep as are the hillside you walk up and down. The more clearance you have the better. Perfectly safe and manageable though.

Offers lovely views has a wilderness feel and they have a few picnic tables which were being utilized.

Its a beautiful place to get a Christmas tree. Lone Star Tree Farm is family oriented. The cost of the trees are $68 but well worth it since it's once a year activity. They also sell honey and Christmas wreath. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would totally recommend this farm.

A windy, twisty road to get there, but a huge lot full of Christmas trees in all shapes and sizes. $60, for a tree, any tree. They'll give you a hand saw and some twine. Netting will cost a little extra. Great fun for a family outing. Take some hot cocoa, sandwiches, and a day trip out of getting a tree. Kiddos love it.

DIY tree farm. You get a dull saw at the top of the hill and drive down a steep road to the main farm. Bring your own rope or twine because none is available. Although there were plenty of trees, the varieties tended to have sparse coverage and lack the traditional full Christmas tree look.
