May 9th, 2025. It's currently 90° outside. I just left the store and am disappointed to see that the majority of the enclosures had no water/very dirty water.

I define this as animal abuse and have looked through other reviews to find concerns of malnourished sick animals being sold here.

I believe those customers...

I even saw one enclosure that said " hold for Gianna," and the water was dried up/ dirty.

Please fix it because the following steps will be animal control and making the Better Businss Bureau aware.

Clean and neatly organized store. Hands on, friendly personnel who know what they are talking about. If they don't have something you want, they will do what they can to get it for you, within reason of course. Great doing business with them! Although I do have a store much closer to my residence, they recommended I go to this one in Escondido if I needed what I was looking for sooner, as they had it in stock. Thanks for everything, including the water for my St Bernard, and allowing him to come inside out of the heat! Greatly appreciated!

This place is wonderful. So many amazing creatures and such amazing, impartial service. The crew really knows their stuff. I've bought several creatures from LLL. The staff is very well versed on their inventory. If you left a poor review, you've got some serious personal issues. They are very informative and they want to make sure that your creatures are in the best hands. LLL Reptile is the way to go!

My family came to look at tortoise's and we found everything we could need to properly house one, Megan was so helpful she gave us vital information to guide us through caring for our new pet! Service is amazing here.

Me and my family went into here yesterday, March 19th, just simply because we are reptile and amphibian lovers and weren’t thinking of necessarily bringing a cutie home. Joe came up to us and we asked about frogs, because we have wanted one for awhile and wanted to know more information about them. Joe was very knowledgeable and answered all of our million questions. We decided we wanted one, but needed a second opinion from my stepdad. We told Joe to put a hold on the Australian Whites Tree Frog and we will be back the next day. We couldn’t wait any longer as it was love at first sight, and we immediately came back. Joe set up the proper bio active tank for us on his own to make sure the frog was in a proper habitat and even told us what we needed to get and do from there. We are beginners but we learned a lot and now we are happy at home with Yoshi! Definitely coming here for food and questions and habitat upkeeps as this was a very wonderful experience. Thank you Joe! Everyone, meet Yoshi!

Took 2 new buddies home. Here they are in the temporary enclosure. The feeder anoles for our legless lizard were in excellent condition, the staff was friendly, and the store was clean and will revist again

i LOVE this company. recently they’ve updated at least this location, including better environments for their animals and they’re WAAAY friendly. i look forward to visiting whenever i’m in the area. despite being slandered online a bit, most of the claims are over exaggerated and yet still handled well by staff. i love that they don’t keep large reptiles—that ensures that none are kept in too small of an enclosure. they keep the baby versions, though, which is ethically and economically the right way to go. never had issues with them and highly recommend the menifee location!
