Small farmer's market (Near Dollar Store) but it has vegetables, fruits, olive oils, food to take out, flowers, plants, ointments, and more. Prices are competitive. Food items are fresh. Flowers last longer. Parking available. Must have mask.

This is a nice market for a neighborhood like live oak but itā€™s also kinda small and there sure are not any bargains to be had. That said itā€™s still a nice Santa Cruz vibe and there are quite a few booths serving fresh made food and bakery items. Live music was pretty bad but still ok because it enhances the experience and people seemed to enjoy it anyway. I have gone to this market for many years and it hasnā€™t changed much over the years. I very much prefer the one at Cabrillo College on Saturdays

Good farmers market. Lots of great local produce with much greater variety than grocery stores. Also have stalls that sell meat, fish, breads, crafts and fresh prepared meals. Can get crowded and parking can get tight, but it is well worth it

The Live Oak farmers market is average. I prefer the other Santa Cruz market thatā€™s in downtown. The parking here is more difficult, the space is more crowded, and thereā€™s less vendors.
One cool thing is Beckmannā€™s bakery comes here, but not downtown. So Iā€™ve come here for their stand twice. Both times theyā€™re sold out of most things and have a small selection left. The first time I came closer to the end so understandable. This time I went at 11 AM and they were already out of a lot, so I think thatā€™s a bit ridiculous to run out of inventory only 2 hours in. Seems like you have to show up at 9am to get anything. Lame.
