Check the dates on your grain if you purchase from the co-op. I recently purchased 2 bags of horse feed that were over a year old and would have been dangerous to feed. Prior to that, I purchased a bag of bran that was full of bugs. They refunded the purchases but zero apology or acknowledgement of the inconvenience.
