Ordered a flourless birthday cake and it was ready in less than 24 hours. The birthday girl loved it! It looked great and tasted better: very chocolatey and not too sweet. I also appreciate that the writing didn’t add an extra cost and was accurate even if in a different language.
I usually don’t like cupcakes but I wanted to try one theirs and now I can understand the appeal, the base was moist and tasty and the topping creamy and delicious. You can feel they use good ingredients.
Will definitely come back for the next birthday!
Parking in the area can be a bit challenging.

Lark Cake Shop designed and prepared my wedding cake, and they absolutely crushed it! John was so helpful from the first call - he listened attentively to our vision and was very willing to help us work within the confines of our budget. The chocolate flavor was absolutely delicious, and after the wedding we received so many compliments on both the taste and aesthetic of our cake! John was also extremely professional, responsive and so positive and upbeat throughout the process. He was beyond on top of it and was an absolute delight to work with. We had a terrific experience working with Lark for our wedding cake. They were so helpful providing cupcakes of each flavor so we could do a taste test with parents in advance. We chose a Lemon Key Lime cake, and it was wonderful.

Lark Cake Shop made the most delicious wedding cake for us - the only bakery I could find that made wedding cakes without buttercream. Their Berry Shortcake is literally the perfect cake.

I will say that coordinating a wedding cake with them was quite disorganized - many emails got sent, and I nearly ended up with a cake very different from the one I thought I was ordering - if you want a tiered wedding cake, they have to replace the whipped cream and pastry cream in the berry shortcake with buttercream (for structural reasons) - which is totally reasonable, but not made clear at any point in the discussions about the cake.

However, the cake that arrived made up for all the confusion - one of the best wedding cakes I've ever had by far. I look forward to buying smaller versions of it for years to come.
