A relatively new tasting room in the San Luis Obispo / Edna Valley AVA. Located on the grounds of the beautiful LaLomita Ranch estate offering some outstanding estate grown wines from their Islay Hill Vineyard. Outstanding Pinot Noir, Grenache and Syrah that are a must try.

Specially if you are staying at the Ranch, you have to take part on the Wine Tasting. Anneke is such an amazing host. We loved all the wines, but our favorite was the Pinot Noir.

This place is a "must see" experience.

The property is beautifully maintained. The buildings are in a Spanish rancho style, with most of the stables being converted to rooms that you can stay in.
Anna and Anneke, our hostesses, were friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about wine, which I found impressive given their young age.

They brought out some test tubes with various scents and a note sheet to record your wine observations. This was really cool and something that no other winery does. This really made our wine tasting experience special.

We fed the horses in the stable some carrots on our way out.

I will definitely come back and possibly stay overnight in one of the rooms there.
