We stopped here with my family for a quick lunch break from our shopping day and were pleasantly surprised. The reviews are accurate. This place takes quality and flavor seriously. The tacos and nachos we tried were Delicious (with a capital D). I am so glad to have discovered this place. I am definitely looking forward to visiting again soon.

Delicious vegetarian (vegan on request) food with authentic Mexican flavor. Highly recommend the birria plate. A really chill vibe and refreshing lemonade (I added pineapple to make it extra special).

This place is an absolute hidden gem and a must-visit for vegetarians/vegans if you are in the area. We went there for dinner and the staff were extremely kind to us, and they even gave us complementary nachos since our order was taking a while to be prepared; without us even asking how long it would take! The food was amazing and the proportions were very filling and worth the price. We paid ~12-15 dollars for an entree and we could choose between vegan or vegetarian. Overall 10/10 experience and would recommend to anyone in the area!!

We stopped by for brunch and truly enjoyed this Vegan delight. The space: Rustically decorated with accents of greenery. Cafe style with ample seating.

Our food was freshly made and absolutely delicious! A large Mexican menu with breakfast and lunch offerings including pancakes, yo egg with breakable, liquid yolk, tofu scramble, enchiladas and an assortment of tacos. The service was also quick and friendly. Looking forward to eating here again.

I'd be happy with anything on the menu, so it is hard to choose what to order. Every dish may be tailored to your preferences. Cheese and eggs can be substituted with vegan options. Along with the well thought-out selections, the clean friendly atmosphere would make this restaurant right at home in San Francisco or LA, but thankfully it's in downtown Fresno. The creative use of jackfruit flavor profiles are well-balanced with the other ingredients, making this a top choice for vegetarian Mexican food. I look forward to trying everything on the menu eventually.

The food is fantastic. I had the two tacos with rice and beans. The food here is plant-based. When I was eating the tacos I forgot it was a plant-based taco. The flavor the seasonings made that tacos taste so good. Even if you're a meat lover you need to try La Jacka.

I finally got to visit Jacka's restaurant 😍 and it's so vibrant! It's a beautiful store located right off of Van Ness next to the postal store.
It's painted vibrant colors and has beautiful light fixtures. There are a lot of tables, perfect for dinner with friends and family. We decided to share their "asada" nachos and I got a pineapple drink. It was all so good! The nachos were a little spicy but the perfect amount. I don't like too much spice lol. The customer service was amazing as usual 😍. Definitely want to go again!
