I stopped by La Flor Mercado y Carniceria and picked up their BBQ plate, which included 1/4 tri-tip, 1/4 chicken, rice, beans, and a can of Pepsi—all at a very reasonable price. I really appreciate the fact that they serve BBQ early in the morning on weekends. It’s hard to find anyone downtown offering BBQ that early, so this is a great find.

The meats were flavorful and cooked well. The red salsa was mild but just right—definitely my favorite. I also tried the green salsa, which wasn’t really to my taste, and their spicy honey BBQ sauce, which was a bit too spicy for me. The rice and beans were decent, not standout but solid.

They also offer menudo and other dishes, which I’m looking forward to trying next time. Overall, I’d rate my experience an 8+ out of 10. Great value, good flavor, and convenient weekend hours.

First time here. It was very busy. We got some carnitas, chicharrónes and shrimp ceviche. Everything was very good. The store was very clean and organized. Would definitely come back to this place.

They had a good carnicería and bbq. I deducted a star cuz it's very tight space and the line is unorganized. Also , they have a smoker/grill right by the entrance so no matter what, you can end up smelling like smoke.

Me and my husband went there and he got a chicken plate and I got a burrito and it was cold.we went back and they fuss and said that it was cold and it was just warm not good so yes I'm not going back

Today they had horrible service I called before I came when I get here they lied about not having any food when there serve other customers 6 pm. They act like all black people are stealing when you ask to speak to manager he never here

I like going here to get meat. Definitely prefer that over a big store like Walmart. Only gripe is there are times when the pork steak would have bone shavings on the meat that's hard to get out, from when they cut it. But usually it's fine. Just hope they take this criticism with grace and make adjustments.
