If you are in the area you definitely don't want to miss out on this restaurant. The place is in an amazing little town with beautiful scenery. I spoke with Leroy who's a chef in the back house of this place and puts a unique twist from his personal background and heritage. We had the albondiga which was very tasty, the food was so good we came back the next day and got Nachos and wet burrito. You must and I repeat must try the tai chili it puts a spicy touch to the amazingly good food. Thank you to Kayla who helped us on both days, we much appreciated this place. Can't wait to come back next year.

This is I believe the only Mexican restaurant in Downieville and it has great views of the river below on the back patio. The margaritas are good, but not very large. They serve traditional Mexican food such as burritos, tacos, etc. Please note they don't take credit cards, only cash and checks so be prepared for that. Also, as with the rest of the restaurants in Downieville they have very limited hours and they close by 8 pm (sometimes earlier) so don't expect to find any restaurants in this town open late.

Even on a hot day the back patio is worth a try. Had the tacos with cod and side salad. Was amazingly fresh and light. Must try with River and a beer

Their back patio right on the river is wonderful. The food is delicious. Homemade lemonade was so refreshing! The service is fast. The prices are cheap . What more can you ask for?

Awesome spot with great service and food. Although our standards are high for Mexican and this isn't quite "authentic," it has a unique flare that makes the dishes fresh and tasty.

The toastada salad was great with beets, fruit, and especially how they buried the meat, rice, and beans under the lettuce. The dressing was amazing and it was a great portion size.

The enchiladas were good but could have used a little more kick to the green sauce. Only thing that was a little less than great was the margaritas which were from a mix. But the service was fast and friendly. The back patio was also a nice atmosphere with misters when it's hot out.

Idk what happened, used to be a good place. The burritos are OK - not great but you don't have much selection in Downieville. But this time I waited for a burrito to go for over 40 mins!! No mixup, just one single cook during the busiest time of the year. Try to imagine what it's like waiting for a to-go order for over 40 mins - I'm not picky but would be great if they gave a heads up

This is one of, if not, the most popular restaurant in Downiedville. Not only is the food exceptionly good, but the service is great and the outside eating area is overlooking a creek. Very vharming.

As the head cook, I take pride in the cleanliness and quality of food l deliver, it is fresh, bought and prepared only for that week, so we run out of food sometimes. We apologize for random closures, it is a small town in the hills, we are all humans please act like appropriately, stop in and enjoy!!
