Ordered prepared Masa to make tamales. Price is around 1.38 a pound. Also bought ears. The Masa is very good my tamales came out excellent in taste, moisture,and texture. This is the second year I have ordered from here and I am very pleased with their products, the ears for wrapping tamales are also very clean. You can order over the phone or just drop in I will continue to use them. They accept EBT.

Went for the 1st time to try it out bought a half dozen chicken tamales.got home and opened the bag it had a horrible smell with harden grease and juice the chicken was tainted and spoiled.what a waist of $15 dollars.

I was so,so disappointed with your Tamales this year 2022, my family has been patronizing your business for more than 50 years for masa, etc. But this year your tamales were too small, bland, not enough meat or sauce and so expensive..$30. per dozen. Lacked flavor and some were still raw...Very disappointing. Seems like you have changed your recipe. What has happened?

My husband and I decided to try their tamales. Never again they are the worst tamales we have ever tasted. We had to throw them to the trash! Never mind I was terribly hungry! Please make an effort to make good tamales if you are going to sell them!

This place is the absolute go to place for my corn tortillas and my masa for tamales there's is no other like La Carreta it's been a family go to for many many years .If you don't know now you know ,pure authentic taste, right away you enter you'll know your at the right place the smell is real ?

Yesterday we ordered chili & cheese and chicken tamales. The chili & cheese lacked masa. The chicken were delicious! We came back on Christmas Eve for more chicken tamales!
