I have always savored this wonderful bakery, however my last stop for sfogliatelle was a disappointment. I bought a dozen to share with my friend and family anticipating the creamy filling dripping down to my plate as I took my first bite…..but no … very dry filling and not much filling at all. Maybe a heaping teaspoon.
I understand the rising cost of ingredients and labor, but I would rather pay a higher price to experience the authentic taste of Italy.
I also purchased two small almond tortes.

I visited this amazing biscotti place. Their biscottis and cannolis were awesome and really good!! The owner was super kind and friendly. I think he is proud of his art. They became one of my favourite bakeries ☺️ I am lucky to have this nice place:) The best biscottis and cannolis I’ve ever tried!!!!

What a hidden treat la biscotteria is! I accidentally stumbled upon them when trying to get cannoli, only to discover the greatest biscotti I've ever eaten. So much flavor and crisp, and a wide range of flavors. Personal favorite is definitely the chocolate dipped chocolate hazelnut but the lemon and blueberry ones are also super solid. Great pairing with a warm drink on a cozy winter day.

I came all the way from San Francisco since no bakery’s sell sfogliatella in my area and also had the cannoli and sfogliatella was great. I gotta say, this is by far the best and most authentic Italian bakery I’ve been in ever seen. The service was great, the guy at the front was polite, making the cannolis fresh for us, I truly recommend this bakery even if it means taking a 30 minute drive there, seriously.

Updated review : updated from 3 to 5 stars after trying the biscotti! I tried the lemon biscottini, and they are amazing! Hard to stop at one 😉

My 10 year old set an alarm for Saturday morning to ensure that we could actually get these desserts! These are freshly prepared desserts and the restaurant prepares small batches which sells out fast.

For example, the owner asked us for our preference of cream in the Cannolis and took about 10 min to prepare them for us. The quality of cream is really good, and since they are not pre- filled, you get the experience of eating a really crispy shell with soft cream inside. Does not taste that great if you refrigerate them, so if I were you I would order only the amount that you would want to consume on that particular day.

The Sfogliatella was also very crispy, though I have eaten better ones in Italy.

The restaurant is following Covid protocols and you do need to ring the bell to be let in.

We also got some biscotti, that I haven't tried yet. All in all, it was a good to have experience, but did not find it worth repeating.
