We visited the store today as we regularly do and saw lamb chops. I have never had lamb but was intrigued and along with a sirloin, we bought 2 chops. Oh my gosh!! They were fabulous!! I will definitely buy again, all of the meat from this establishment is above and beyond quality. Nice job L&J !!

Just recently had a quarter of beef processed by L & J Meat Market and they did a beautiful job! Packaging was all sealed and clean, which I say that because the last quarter I had processed by Ebels was covered in meat pieces and blood, and some of my steaks were not sealed properly. I also purchased some deli ham slices while I was there and it was delicious! Highly recommend!!!

I read tons of good reviews and drove an hour both ways to pick up my bundles. The first problem was they shorted me 7 pounds of ground beef. The second issue is no matter how long I cook their cuts of meat they're super tough, the bacon is super salty and thick, the ribs have hardly any meat and the cuts I've cooked have all been super fatty.. seems they pack on as much fat for weight and price. I had a 3 almost 4 pound roast that I only got one pound of edible meat off of it. I will not be returning definitely not worth the $500 I paid and 2 hour drive. I'll try my luck at ebels next time. I'm super disappointed in my experience hopefully others continue to have better experience.
