Great place for deals on fruits and vegetables, i spent $23 on a small fruit haul for the next couple of days, no mold or rotten though you may peek at some getting to this state at the market, which needs a little love and organizing as well, but it happens, there are no flies, bugs or signs of vermin (i do look) which is good. The workers are kind and humble and happy to answer any questions. They offer a variety of products and staples for hispanic/latino households which makes me happy to find. I recommend here to get ingredients that you will use in the next few days.

I love this place. I always stop off here first to see what they have on special before I shop for vegetables anywhere else. They tend to have good deals on fruits and vegetables that are past the pristine state which isn't a problem if you dont mind blanching, freezing or canning whatever you dont plan on using soon. They have $1 bags of produce that should be used right away as well as decent prices for their fresher options. Today I purchased all of this for $11.

This place you can get great deals but you have to know how to pick your veggies. They also have specials on veggies you must use soon so this is good for immediate use. Sometimes i let this guide me as to what I'll make for dinner. In all it is a great place to get your vegetables at a great price. I would say i pay for the average less than 50% of what i would pay at a regular supermarket.

You have to come here frequently to get the best deals for produce. One day the strawberries are 3.99 then the next u can get them 2/$4. Depends when you go. But you'll always find something.

The Kearny Farmers Market grocery store was formerly known as the James Farmers Market Grocery Store, which was on Passaic before BJs moved in and renovated the industrial buildings into the shopping center it is now.

The market often has great produce deals, and I often come here when I need a ripe avocado, papaya, or persimmon for immediate use. There’s also a florist by the cashier for small popular flowers arrangements (I.e. roses, etc.). Since moving to Kearny Ave the store functions as more of a hybrid bodega/grocery store. It’s nothing fancy, but it is convenient and I am happy they are still in business.

The James Farmers Market was bigger with a larger selection of produce and they even had a fish market inside. The fish market and the produce market split after moving locations. The fish market and larger florist shop is still on Passaic Ave in front of the Exon gas station.

Very affordable with fresh produce, bread and flowers. Just remember to bring cash otherwise its a $10 minimum for debit purchases. Still a great place to shop for fresh stuff.

Nice spot on the ave, the informants were super kind and well mannered. I received a free Marigold plant for my purchase! You will find J&R Bakery from Garfield here as well.

I love the flower shop in here. They are fresh and reasonable prices.
Lots of fresh vegetables fruits.
Always see lot of special sales on fruits & Lime.
