Kalamata is our very favorite restaurant in Arnold. Service is very friendly and accommodating. Food is consistently good. I could live off of their Greek salads with blackened salmon or prawns. The moussaka was delicious for a more decadent meal. It's a place we can take the whole family. The kids love to split one of the pasta entrees, or you can get traditional kid dishes as well. We are so happy Kalamata has made a home in Arnold.

Excellent service! Excellent food and wine! Great ambiance! We will go back! Portions are big … had left overs for lunch. We had the flaming cheese (delicious and theatrical), the lamb chops (perfectly medium rare like we wanted) and the gyro plate (delicious)! Soup and salad came with our dishes. And lots of pita with the cheese.

The food, service and atmosphere all were really good and it was worth visiting this place. Had the Hummus, side of Greek salad, falafel pita bread and pistachio crusted salmon. Also the Cabernet wine goes really nice with the food. Highly recommend if you are around Arnold, CA. the staff was very nice and polite. You can sample wine before ordering.

Surprisingly nice fine-dinning restaurant! They only have few tables so reservations are recommended. We had Horiatiki Salad (it was nice), Dolmathes (little too firm texture in my opinion), Moussaka (excellent ) and Capellini & Prawns (angel hair was overcooked but shrimp was excellent). The best part was atmosphere and the service.

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining here twice during our stay at Arnold. I highly recommend the pistachio crusted salmon and the flaming cheese. The food was delicious and I liked how the kitchen was open so you can see the chefs at work.

The best meal we've had in the area. Each dish was well flavored and beautifully prepared. Special highlight was the lemon-chicken soup. Chicken Marsala and Pistachio Salmon were delicious.

Great refresh on the formerly Dogwood restaurant space. A variety of basic ($$) and fancy($$$$) Mediterranean cuisine. Stopped in for a quick lunch. Had the fresh house made hummus. Which was very flavorful and came with a nice warm stack of pita bread. My main was the mousalaka which was strongly and authentically spiced, and comforting like shepherds pie. I was happy to see they have some affordable lunch options along with the upscale dishes that are on the $$$ side. I look forward to coming back for a nice fancy dinner. They have the ability to do many dishes gluten free for those with gluten sensitivity. It would be nice to see the interior space spruce up more.
