UPDATE: Kaishan USA did send a representative to my site to look at possible solutions.

Don’t believe the warranty. They will and have tried every way they can to get out of fulfilling their obligations. So disappointed with my Kaishan compressor. It is 2 years old and has been broke down more than its ran. My air end was denied warranty coverage, so I will do my best to insure another Kaishan will not go into our company facilities. I could add a lot of additional information but it gets detailed.

Super super super bad experience.
we are injection molded factory nearby LA.
1. started different problems after 2 years we got it.
2. takes very long time to repair and super expensive. we had routing maintenance already under a very clean working environment.
3. from 3rd year we use it, almost not able to use always under repair. always waiting for factory instruction how to repair.
4. changed almost all major parts like computer board, motor. still now know what happened and how long we need to get it fixed.
5. the compressor is died in the facility for 3-4 months already. still not know how to repair.
6. asked to repair it asap or replace a new one. no answer.

Kaishan engineer said, it is a good brand but you can see this problem every 100 equipment. who knows.

Overall, if you want to spend $30k for a compressor and throw in a years, buy it.

Buyer beware. 2-3 Years ago I decided to replace the 40 year old Saylor Beall 9000 that has been running my body shop since 1991(it was used when we got it). I contacted a dealer and they sold me a Kaishan rotary screw compressor. Almost immediately I had buyers remorse. My power bill increased by 25% and quarterly service is 5 times than what I was paying on a piston unit. So much that I decided the money I saved doing service myself would offset the cost of a new compressor in just 2.5 years. Now here I am, already down, running oil a rental and buying diesel every 2 days shopping around for another new compressor. Kaishan refuse to sell parts to my repair company because they aren't an authorized dealer and the dealer I used is no longer a Kaishan dealer(their customer serve turned out to be terrible after the sale as well). I will be selling this as a used machine in need of repair, cutting my losses and buying an American made piston machine. Don't make the same mistake I made & steer clear of Kaishan.
