We've had pasties from literally dozens of places across the UP. These are by far the best we've ever had. And the frozen custard...absolutely fabulous. Jimmy and his staff are so friendly and go to great lengths to ensure that everything is perfect-- and it is!!

Some of the best custard I’ve ever had!! I ordered the regular size strawberry shortcake. Added pecans. It was huge for me! I could’ve gotten the small size honestly. The cake was a slightly sweet old fashion yellow cake. I would’ve preferred vanilla cake with this. The strawberry sauce taste freshly made with tart strawberries which balance out the sweetness. The cake soaks up all the strawberry sauce which made it mushy before I could really enjoy it. Overall I’d go back for this amazing custard!!

We love Jimmy's! Whenever we come to PH, we usually drive thru for their famous frozen custard. We tried them for the first time, earlier this Summer. So glad we did!
Now it's a regular stop when we're in town. We've had the custard Twist; van/chocolate cone, Brownie Hot Fudge sundae, and the Hot Fudge Cream Puff sundae. ALL VERY GOOD.
My favorite? The Original HF Cream Puff with custard. On tonight's visit, after placing our order w/the gal at the speaker, Jimmy himself was at the window to greet us.
Such a nice man. Gave us a sample of their chicken noodle soup. We were unaware they served soup, because we don't reside in PH year round, summers only. We will definitely come again if up this way this Fall, and get some hot soup, and pasties!!

Get custard here most times when I visit my grandparents. Always tastes amazing. Root beer custard flavor didn't really taste like root beer, more like coffee, but it's still really good so I'm not complaining. We always enjoy it. :3

Updating since I see that Jimmy has replied to positive reviews but not acknowledged several negative ones. You can't say that people are beating someone up online who clearly is driving customers away. If my review of my personal experience with her more than once is what changed her tune then so be it. Had your customer service been outstanding I would have been on here to say that instead.

Drive-thru only. Selection is decent. They are the only frozen custard place around, which must be why the woman who manages the place is fine with being rude all the time. One bad day is understandable. But if every day is a bad day.... it's you.

Drive thru only...totally get it, however, when you're waiting on a family of 4 when we walked up we're going to assume you're waiting on people not in a vehicle with no issues! Absolutely rude customer service, if your attitude was any inkling I can't imagine why you're "short staffed"....I wouldn't want to work there either! It was my daughters birthday, she along with the rest of us hurried up and picked basically the first item we seen since you rudely yelled we better "hurry it up and order" since you had 1 car at the window and you were "short staffed" with 3 of you clearly in there working. Not our problem lady, maybe next time don't allow a whole family to order at the window and you won't have another assuming it's ok. Will never bother going here again, you're lucky the grandparents were there and treating! Take a lesson in customer service and fix your attitude, there are other places to get ice cream in the area and sadly your items were not that good at all to compensate for your nasty demeanor!

I am absolutely disgusted with how my family was treated on our trip to this ice cream joint. The older lady who was taking our order was SO RUDE. I understand being overwhelmed or being tired from working all day, but this was totally unacceptable. I really don’t believe she would appreciate being treated like she treats other people so I hope she will learn from her mistakes. She literally treated us like we were completely stupid and dismissed our basic questions about the menu. On top of that, we have been to this place before and had the same experience. This time I am not giving her the benefit of the doubt. Jimmy’s should be renamed to Karen’s.

Great selection of custard. Unfortunately, the lady who is regularly working here is unbelievably rude and angry for no reason, pretty much every time. I'm not going to subject myself to that attitude anymore. Dairyboy in Marysville is a much better option.
