I just want to point out that this place is under new ownership and the old reviews do not fall under the new owner. My husband killed a buck but we were not able to recover it till next day. We took it to J & H to ensure the meat was still good. We never use a processer, since we do our own meat, but we would definitely recommend this business. The meat was cut great, packaged well, and there was definitely no waste. We have a ton of meat!! We had a good conversation with the owner and we are also waiting on a shoulder mount from him. Don't knock this place due to old reviews.

Prompt and polite service. Got a ton of meat off a small deer. Even gave me a cardboard box to take it all home in when my cooler wasn't big enough.

Brought a hog in and I wanted about 20lbs of sausage and links from it (still have the receipt that shows it on there). Brought it home, opened the box, and there wasn’t one pound of sausage in there. I was wondering why they made me pay less than with all the sausage that was on the receipt, but they didn’t say anything to me. Also said I didn’t want hams because I still have a couple hams in the freezer but I got hams. Asked for boneless chops, but I got bone in chops. Worst of all, I would expect at the very least if you are getting paid to handle meat that you would package them appropriately. I would say about a third of the “sealed” bags were punctured or did not seal appropriately so now I’m stuck fixing those myself. I’m trying to figure out what they didn’t mess up. I usually process my own meat and I’m not an expert but I could have done better with my at home tools and experience and saved money. Do not go here. Save your money, watch a YouTube video and do it yourself. You’ll be doing better than the service that I received with that one video.

DO NOT USE THIS PROCESSOR!!! I took a 250 pound hog to be processed here. I went out of town unexpectedly for work and could not pick it up until the next week. They took my 100 pounds of meat and kept it or gave it away. I saved their number in my phone and did not get a call from them!!!
