Went for a wine tasting earlier this year and had an amazing time. Weather was great, we got a walk through tour of the facility where they explained their process and history. We even had free time to roam around the property for a bit, which I really liked. There was zero pressure to buy anything. All in all would go back and might even consider getting some of the wine.

I have been here many times from way back then when the basic tastings were $5 and Cline Cellars (their sister winery) across the street had free tastings.

The man conducting the tastings this time was very thorough and introduced a lot of “fruit-forward wines” which I assumed is a fancy way of saying a less dry wine full of fruity flavor.

The place is quite nice with the interior store selling olive oil and some other general goods. Then there is a courtyard with the open windows leading to the winery itself. It is always windy outside by the fountain.

We visited here 5 years ago and loved it. Unfortunately, this visit wasn’t as enjoyable. The last time was a relaxed and enjoyable tasting at the bar with exceptional and personal service. It made us fall in love with the wines here and we have been ordering them ever since. This time they only did the tastings outside and reservations were required (far too few staff and many empty tables yet still a long wait for a reservation time on a day they should have known would be busy). It took a long time to get started and we were given misinformation about the wines we were able to have with the tasting so we had some we didn’t really want thinking the others were unavailable. We had to wait a long time to get the first few tastings but then a different employee took over and it was much quicker. The experience now is much more about trying to get you to buy instead of letting you relax and enjoy. We didn’t enjoy the new atmosphere. The wines are still good. And we bought some - but if you’re not willing to buy multiple bottles, the price they charge for just a tasting is high (like most places here now, sadly) so I would recommend just buying a glass or bottle to enjoy there.

This was a great break from the city. Really nice people plenty of great views. There's a lot of history through the winery about the Jacuzzi family. The wine was great. Friendly staff.

One of my favorites. We did a wine tasting and absolutely loved it. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable and really made our experience a relaxing time. They had a tower you could go up to get some great views. They also have a gift shop on site with the olive press products, which were amazing! Had a nice variety of whites and reds to sample. Would come here again. Really amazed by the family and vineyard’s history. They were setting up for an event later in the day and showed us around the event spacing to get a better look!

So, this was a strange experience for me. I certainly had different expectations from my experiences at other wineries outside of the United States. I reserved online for a specific time, table service only, vineyard views and charcuterie. The building and grounds are incredible and I hope our experience was a me off otherwise it’s a shame. We got to reception 5 minutes early and weren’t acknowledged by anyone for over 10 minutes l, when we finally went over to a person at a local information desk to see if we were standing in the right spot. Finally ushered to a table right in the front lobby area. And our wine “tasting” started. I didn’t clue until later that o didn’t sign up for wine tasting and we finally had to ask when we would get to have the charcuterie board and sit outside to enjoy the vineyard and our hostess was confused right before our time was up. So disorganized! She did say stay as long as you want and make our way out to the vineyard but go around as there was a private function going on. We were very quiet and were attempting to go around the event unnoticed when an obnoxious employee running the private event called us out and said we couldn’t be back here this was a private event and the area was off limits. I was taken aback and even more confused as to why this place offers reservations and no one has a clue. We eventually made it back to the vineyard view but were left with a feeling of awkwardness. The experience was off putting and in my opinion the wines I tasted were mediocre. Normally at a winery you feel spoiled and sophisticated but just not so today. I did however love the olive oils and vinegars for purchase onsite and the gorgeous property.
