We visited J Alexanders at 630 on a Wednesday night and made reservations about 4 days prior. The dining experience was exceptional! We were seated right on time and our waitress was very helpful and quick. I always get the steak Maui which is a phenomenal ribeye with a sweet glaze that is impossible to beat!

One of the best Filets I’ve ever had. Cooked to perfection medium rare. Didn’t need the bearnaise sauce at all. Broccoli was also cooked well. Service at the bar was incredible.. Worth every penny…

5 star! The Salmon Dip starter 😋. The Pecan Encrusted Trout! The coleslaw, smashed redskins. And loaded baked potato, 😋 And, the homemade carrot cake incredible! We are bringing 1/2 of our meals and desert home because the portions are very generous! Staff was incredibly friendly and professional. Very impresssed!

My waitress Jackie was phenomenal. By far the best waitress ever. Whenever I come to eat at this location, I’ll definitely ask for her. You don’t get this type of service at a restaurant anymore!

We stopped in for a quick bite and decided to try the calamari, which turned out to be a solid choice—crispy, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. We opted to sit at the bar, where we received excellent service from the bartender, who was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a lively yet relaxed vibe that made it easy to settle in and enjoy our time. Whether you're just popping in for a snack or looking for a place to unwind with drinks, this spot definitely delivers. We'll be back for sure!

I've been here numerous times. The meat was delicious. I had my normal prime rib. Husband had steak Maui. I liked the broccoli with the cheese sprinkle. The rice pilaf had way too many onions and it over powered the flavor of the rice. My server was nice but he adamantly denied discussing the tea selections with me when I inquired and ordered an English tea. My guy...you were the only server to my table. We sat by the window which was chilly. We had to keep our coats on during our dinner.

I came with my bf and his family and we had reserved for a table of 4 a few hours prior to coming. Our waiter, Jason, was always on top of everything; saw what was low at our table: lemons, sugar, water, etc. and brought them to us. He had other tables too, which was also impressive by how much attention he cared to show. The food was underwhelming. We all ordered steak, 3/4 steaks were cooked too much and resulted in the steaks being stiff. They were still consumable but weren’t worth the price. I mentioned it to Jason, once we were finishing, so that it could be avoided for future customers and not result in people lowering his tip. He apologized on behalf of the kitchen staff and was attentive till the end. He said if we mentioned it earlier he would’ve asked the kitchen to remake the steaks. I’m happy we had a great waiter even though the food wasn’t what we were expecting.
