I love their bulk seed. I got some garden veggie seeds there. And some wildflower mixes. Both are doing prolifically. And they have poultry feed and baby chicks of different species. I saw turkey chicks. And dog food samples. Great way to see which food your pup likes first.

As a long time customer, the folks at IS&F have always been friendly and very knowledgeable, ready to answer any questions you may have. I love to visit the chickens and play with the cats! I love this store! The staff and owner are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They carry everything from garden supplies to pet food, and they have a really great selection of healthy pet food. It's a fun and quirky place with a lot of personality. It's owned by a local family, so when I shop here I really feel like I'm supporting our local economy. Yay Island!

This store is the best. They answer questions honestly rather than try to sell you something you don't need or won't work. The various fertilizers and concoctions they make for the garden are all organic and function as promised. Island F & S is a business the operates the way it used to be, before the giant corporations and and on-line stores created a "customer support" lines that are usually frustrating and worthless. This store is truly helpful, if they don't have it they will help you get it.
