Excellent gourmet market which sticks harder to find organs and meats, such as ostrich, venison, boar; beef sweet breads, fries, kidneys; rabbit and quail; pork heart, liver and brain. Amazing selection of condiments and an impressive selection of wines. I highly recommend this shop!

Great selection. We ordered a brisket flat that was ready for pickup and tasted fantastic. Old style butcher where they tower over you behind the counter as you view the selections.

Iowa Meat Farms is a great place to get the highest quality premium meats, wines, beers, and other gourmet food items. The selection is broad, the quality is second to none, and the people are friendly and accommodating. The funny thing is, I usually just buy one of the cheapest products in the store. It's a specialty food product that almost no one else carries, but Iowa Meat Farms has it.

Came to Iowa Meats twice... just an amazing selection at the butcher counter, and the staff goes out of their way to explain the different types and cuts of meats.
I have lived in SD for 30 years and wish I would have come across this gem sooner.

OMG you can find almost any exotic meat you want. If they don't have it is probably mythical. None the less you can find what ever kind of meat you want! They might have to order it special but at least you can try. Wish I could give more stars

Man the rib eye is no joke . I’ve never cooked it flawlessly, their delicious meat made it so easy for me . The shrimp and lobster tail was on point as well , all fresh . I will be coming weekly now . 🔥🔥🔥

After reading a few of the negative comments, I thought about my experiences there. Not once was anybody rude to me and any questions I had they were knowledgeable. And yes, I’m knowledgeable as well. However, everyone has a bad day so I can see it happening. A bit pricey but if you know how to cook, you’ll get your money’s worth. If you understand the difference in quality meats, this is the place. If you don’t care or do not understand, do not bother. Take your time and learn. Overall, 5/5. Their salsas were fantastic as well.

Attached are the Delmonico Steaks and Short Ribs I purchased from there. Hands down the best steaks I have ever made and had. I made a lasagna with the short ribs is they just fell apart after a low simmer for 3 hours in the sauce. Fantastic!

Great experience with helpful, friendly staff. Everything looks delicious. They've got Mcconnell's Fine Ice Creams, I got Eureka Lemon and Marionberries. For steak I bought choice new york and delmonico, I'll update with pictures after I cook them up to an internal temperature of 135°F.
