The food has good flavors. It does have some spiciness to it. Ordered the rice, shrimp and garlic Naan. The mango yogurt smoothie was very good. Haven't tried the other dishes but I did enjoy the ones I ordered.

Went to India's Oven last night under a reservation for over 12 people. They knew we were coming, is my point. I cannot remember having such appalling service with an equally appalling attitude by the "server". In fact, I'm not sure the server ever received any training whatsoever. The server placed the plates in a stack at one end of table. Zero utensils or napkins. They brought out these cheap thin plastic party cups, stacked in middle of our reserved 12 top table, for water. Server took our orders, brought out the food slowly, one very, very small bowl at a time. No utensils still. For curries. I ordered samosas for appetizer. I got a large plate with two samosas on it. No chutney. I asked the server if chutney comes with it. She replied that it's coming. It took her 5 minutes to bring the chutney. She brought 2 sets of chutney for my samosas, but placed them well away from my samosas (at a 12 top). Then they brought out another dish of tikka chicken and it had a small pair of tongs. Still no silverware to eat the food anywhere at the table. We had already asked several times for silverware. So I got up and asked ti be handed some silverware to eat our now rapidly cooling food sitting on the table. The server was slowly, casually rolling silverware in napkins when i asked her for it. She snapped "that's what I'm doing!" She took another several minutes before coming in with the silverware, only to stand at one end of the long table handing one napkin rolled silverware at a time and having everyone pass it down the table. I was at the end, so by the time I got my silverware, it was passed through 8 different people's hands. When we got our butter chicken, and having waited for silverware and rice by the way, we started eating it. When halfway through, she brings a second bowl of butter chicken and plaves it in front of me. We asked why we were getting more butter chicken and she replied, oh, there were 2 orders of it, that first one was mild, this is the hot one. At the table! (A 12 top). Turns out, the 1st butter chicken we got was ordered mild by a person at the other end of the table. The server then snatched the half eaten bowl from us and just walked away with it. No apologies, no sense of customer service whatever. Another point, at no point during ordering the food did she ask us if we wanted rice with our curry. And because of that, we assumed ruce was a given since we were, um, at an Indian restaurant. We didn't know rice had to be ordered separately. It's fine that it's a la carte, but a server must let the customer know. Truly one of the most bizarre and unprofessional restaurant experiences I've ever had. I don't really ever leave bad reviews, but I leave this review in the spirit of supporting the Tower District. If a restaurant owner/manager is so absent or uncommitted to the expectations of customers during a routine dining experience for a group of 12 that made a reservation, then I will go to other Tower restaurants that do think that a customer's experience is important.

As a lover of Indian cuisine, I was thrilled to discover India’s Oven in the North Fulton area of Fresno. Despite being a single diner, I found the variety of vegetarian dishes impressive.

The Chili Cheese Naan was a delightful surprise—perfectly textured with just the right amount of cheese and spice.

The Navaratan Korma, a vegetable dish in a cashew curry, was a unique and delicious experience.

The restaurant boasts a friendly, minimalistic atmosphere with a secure outdoor dining area. With a great selection of beers on tap, it’s a haven for anyone craving tasty Indian vegetarian food. Highly recommended! 🌟

Didn’t get to try the food, but the drink I ordered was really good. Emilio the bartender was very friendly and attentive. My husband and I came from Modesto to watch the monster trucks this weekend and decided to explore the area. We chose this nice little restaurant/ bar, very charming and welcoming atmosphere. We will try the food next time. 9/10

This has been our go-to Indian restaurant for years. Partly because it's close by, but it has also always been very good food. Lately, the food has gone down in quality significantly. The last 3 visits, the curry has been thin, and the flavors aren't what they used to be. The spice levels have also dropped. I am a spice fanatic. I always order extra spicy, and my fiancée would go medium. In past years, medium would often be borderline too hot for her while my extra spicy was a good heat for me. The last few visits, her medium has had virtually no heat, and my extra spicy doesn't even get me to break a sweat.

The service is always good, the atmosphere is nice (except when it turns into a nightclub on Friday and Saturday nights), but the food is just okay these days. We're going to look for a new go-to curry spot.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! Ok, where do I begin! When you first walk in you get a very inviting and at home vibe. The customer service is un matched! The manager, Jackie, went above and beyond for us! I'm so sorry I didn't get the chefs name but his lamb rib special is out of this world!. We ended the meal with Paula's (bartender) own, misty sour shooters, and they were amazing as well. I can honestly say it was the best Indian cuisine experience I have ever had! Reasonably priced fair portion sizes but most importantly great customer service and delicious food and drinks!!!

I loved the atmosphere at India's Oven Banquet Hall. Catering and food was really good, and the decorations looked elegant. The staff was polite and made us feel welcome.They accommodated last minute requests and made all our guests comfortable. Highly recommend!

I loved this restaurant, it was amazing! It’s a pretty long drive from my house but I’ll still be coming back often. The food was amazing and so was the service. I was in love with the decorations and all the detail put into the place. It was gorgeous. The food was the best, I’ve tried making chicken curry at home and it’ll just never taste as good as this place! I will definitely be coming back. The service was awesome as well.
