Beautiful place for hiking, camping or just doing some sports. It's $6 per car to go in, there are multiple places to park and grill and spend the day. You can play volleyball, football, soccer, do swing sets, run or hike. Bathrooms are clean and well stocked throughout the park. NO DOGS AND NO SMOKING ARE ALLOWED. Camping requires a permit and there's a beautiful area for group camping 1.2 miles inside of the forest, the trails are fun and easy. Enjoy!

Huddard park is a gorgeous tru California redwood mini forest. Huge redwood trees line up the trails and make it a paradise for hikers. Crystal springs trail is the longest but you can take detours through Dean trail to hike for roughly about 6 miles. It has lush green trails between the trees, slightly moderate climb for about 2.4 miles from the parking area and then downhill all the way back. You can spot large size banana slugs and hear sounds of chirping birds and squirrels. Plenty of parking available, thought you must bring cash only since there is no credit card machine at the entrance. You may be allowed to park for free if you didn't bring the cash but wouldn't be very nice. Several bathrooms available and are relatively clean facilities. Just walk the trails soak in the beauty and enjoy the views at the top of the mountain. Overall one of the best trail and redwood parks in the Bay area.

Has tranquil hiking trails with lush redwood trees providing plenty of shade for a cozy hike. Picnic areas and an archery range are also available within the park. Many trails are open for equestrian use. Parking incurs a $6 charge.

Fabulous hiking. Well maintained. Huge trees. Great hiking paths in the shade.

Just a fabulous park for hikes and gatherings. They charge an entrance fee of $8 but it pays for the upkeep of the park clearly and the money is well spent.

Good for kids and sports as it has playgrounds and picnic areas.
