Very nice location and plenty of tables for guest eating inside. Items were well stocked and looked very fresh. My order was prepared and served at my table in timely fashion. The staff was very friendly and helpful in suggestions for my breakfast choices of ham, sunny-side up eggs, black beans and wonder varieties of toast paired with raspberry jam. Very delicious and on my list to return for the lunch or brunch experience. Also had the Lemon Bar which was better than the. classic that you may be thinking of. No picture because it was that good. 👍🏽 The name “House of Bread” speaks for itself so if you enjoy different varieties, flavors or choices, you gotta go.

I wanted a healthy breakfast and found it here. The Farmhouse Fitness Bowl was delicious! I ordered mine with the chicken sausage and it matched perfectly with the quinoa, veggies, and fried egg on top. This was exactly what I needed to fuel my day.

The House of Much More than bread is quite an amazingly pleasant temple to all things flour related.

Of course, if anyone is on their way to or from the airport or vineyards, this is a great pit stop for snacks, refreshments, and so on. It is also a nice place to grab a thoughtful last minute yummy gift for the locals.

This was my first stop, on my marathon of rescuing, day-old goods, via the "Too Good To Go" program. The lady who helped me was really nice & helpful. It was fairly early on a nice sunny Sunday morning.

While I had some trouble with one of my camera systems, I still took a few good shots. It is funny how I notice things better after later looking at the pics. I will have to try again another time, with some of my Macro lens to get some cool close ups of some tasty looking items.

I did score a yummy loaf of bread and some pastries which I later munched on at home. The bread is way above what one typically finds and reminds me of European Style loafs that are more of a meal in themselves. This loaf was heavy, hefty, and satisfying, without feeling too dense.

The last time I was at this building was when there was another business there. HOB has done a good job with taking it over, and I was generally impressed and really wanted to linger longer, but time was wasting. I still had to pick up & save excess eats at four other places. Later on, the mixing and matching of all sorts of baked goodies was fun. Adding a little butter or jam after toasting some items really enhanced the pleasure...and sadly, the calories.

HOB surely has a fairly extensive bakery menu and some interesting breakfast/brunch choices. Lots of items really appealed to me for the future, such as a pie, or bagels. Good bagels are really hard to find in SLO.

I looked forward to more visits here, since I live in nearby Shell Beach. If they have any "mistakes", I can stop by anytime 🙂

Sheila and her husband are such wonderful community members and business owners - so friendly and kind. They also are huge supporters of SLO County nonprofits, giving 25% of their sales on Friday afternoons at their Guest Bartender events. But above that, their food is absolutely amazing - so fresh and yummy. They care so much, and Sheila is such an awesome baker. I can't say enough about this local treasure!

Amazing! Phenomenal food, great atmosphere, prompt service and easy parking. The Cali Eggs Benedict was excellent. My new favorite brunch place in SLO.

Let me start by saying the Smell is AMAZING! Happy they made it their own feel and it doesn’t feel like you just walking into old farm house. When walking in it seems a bit unorganized but they are new and I can understand how it goes in the beginning. Staff was in training but helpful and polite. As far as the food is concerned it’s really good, got a bagel and cinnamon roll. At this point I would give the establishment 3.5 ⭐️ and the Food 4⭐️ but I’ll be back soon to update my review with second time experience

Said they were open until 6 on Friday.. at 5:40 everything was cleared and we were told, in an impolite manner, that we could not order certain things on the menu because grill was closed and they were closing. Hmm? Too bad, as a foodie who eats out at least 7-8 meals a week, I would have loved to have this as a go to. Loved the old place years ago. Not thrilled with new establishment. I won’t suggest this to anyone and won’t be going back.
