Hometown/ODW. This place is a hole. Wait wait wait. If you're early, wait and still get loaded hours late. If you're late be prepared to be treated like the green stuff on the top of a rancid pool.

Don't check in too early in case the system deletes your checkin. What is the point of an automated system if it does that? If you do get loaded on time good luck, but don't count on it. Definitely bring a packed lunch. And dinner. And supper. You might be out by breakfast.

Horrible backing in even if you are experienced. Place was obviously designed for when everyone drove cabovers.

The only plus is you can come in the night before and park.

As an Ascend driver, we drop and hook, so we're in and out within 30 minutes. They have an indoor restroom for drivers, vending machines for snacks and some overnight parking.

Picked up load here. Appointment was for 1300, arrived at 1100. Departed 1245. Be sure to go in the correct truck entrance. My load notes said 2nd entrance but it is actually the 3rd entrance. There is signage but it’s easy to make a mistake especially when traffic is heavy. Stop at guard shack and go inside. She will need DL, IPR#, truck and trailer numbers. You can’t enter gate until tandems are all the way back. Security will direct drivers to the staging area (straight ahead from guard shack park to the left) and there is a shipping/receiving office near there. Bring your drivers license, phone and IPR number both on check in AND check out. There is a kiosk to your left when you walk inside. That is where they want drivers to check in/out. Once checked in, they send a text with a verification number to confirm check in and also will text you later with a door number. You also get a text when it’s time to check out. Fast loading and everyone was nice. Some of the docks are easier to get into than others. I was lucky enough to get assigned door 2. With that one, you are able to use the driveway to the trailer lot to line up. Just don’t forget about the ditch! 🫣 Safe travels …

Was in and out in less than 2 hours. My appointment was at 18:00 got there 17:33 and left 19:00 Santiago and his coworker got me in and out!! Now if you go there once you're at the parking area in the back take your phone, driver's license, and your IPR number you'll need all to check in. Be on time and you'll probably not be waiting for a long time!
