We’ve been to Hino quite a few times, it’s always been great. Always packed so make sure you have the time. The food is plenty and tasty. We like the sushi rolls, and teppanyaki. The filet, chicken, shrimp are delicious with, of course, the fried rice. If you like some spice, their spicy mayo is a must. Staff is friendly and consistently checks on you for refills, etc. The best teppanyaki place in town hands down.

Went for a bday. And other groups celebrated birthdays and graduations. Quite packed on weekends. But for a reason. Food portions are very good. The dinner for 2 is a great deal!

I come here often because I know a good meal is always guaranteed. The food is always serves relatively quickly and the fried rice is simply the best you can get in fresno. The spicy mayonnaise sauce is also amazing...some of the best I've had in the world!

This place is amazing! It's definitely for extroverts and brave introverts and you dine literally next to complete strangers. You still choose your own food so no worries there. The chef was amazing, cooked everything to specifications and was like a live comedy show right in front of our table.

Would definitely recommend

NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN! Today i took my family and mother to dine in the teppenyaki area. When our cook came out he was rude and cold. My family n I greeted him and he gave no response. We could feel his aggression from the moment he walked up. When he asked if we wanted spicy sause, we said yes and asked for extra. He ignored us even tho we asked twice and never gave us extra. When he did give us the sause he threw the sause at me aggressively. To the point my 13 year old son noticed it and even made a comment about it. He continued to ignore us and then started tossing his cooking utensils in a careless mannor. He did it so careless that he then threw his cooking utenisal at my mother hiting her chest and dropping her soda all over her shirt, pants, feet, purse and phone. He then started to laugh about it causing the tables dining behind us to start to laughing. This was beyond himiliating and completely unacceptable. We then had to ask for something to clean off my mom and he gave us a dirty rag.! I've been going to teppenyaki places all over town, and never have i seen this happen to anyone at any teppenyaki place ive been to in fresno. I feel he did this out of discrimination we didnt even get a sincere apologie and he had no empathy. Because of this i wouldn't recommend this place to anyone trying to have a good time with your family. Smh btw our chefs name was boon. If you get him good luck.. smh

Busy, busy Friday night. Sat the sushi bar so no waiting. Did get to witness how precise the sushi chef is when making rolls. I had a verison of a spicy roll with subbing fresh spicy tuna for regular tuna. I was just thinking I would get rice, soy paper and tuna, but no, it had extras. The picture gives better detail. It was so delicious and simple. The owner had been out of town so the sake selection was stocked with the one we prefer so went with an Asahi. Not sure if they chill the mugs but it not it could help keep the monster beers colder longer. Not complaing, as you can guess, it was still finished. Michelle the server was so attentive, kind and professional. Overall had a nice evening out. May have to go back today because I've been craving that roll.

The restaurant is located right next to Mad Duck by Maya Cinemas. There’s plenty of parking. The restaurant is very beautiful and big. I was greeted right when I walked in. They offer sushi and teppanyaki. My guest and I opted to do a booth for dining in. I love how the restaurant sectioned off teppanyaki into its own large room and regular dine-in with its own open large room. They even sectioned off another area for dining at the bar with TV. The bathrooms are clean and beautiful. They have a large menu selection of food. We ordered three signature rolls total and they were all tasty. We had the Landon Roll, Mamba Roll, and Kamikaze Roll. We also ordered a large bacon fried rice. The food all came out pretty quick and our server named Dillan did a great job tending to us such as refilling our water and checking up on us. I also shared with the waiter that it was my guest’s birthday. After we finished eating and packed our leftovers, he cleared and cleaned our table and brought out a cute little fruit platter of pineapple shaped/cut into a fish with an orange made into a cute little cake. They also sang a Japanese song and had a gong for her to hit. (We had opted out of the Japanese drumming since it reminded us of a funeral drumming sound in our culture.) With three signature sushi rolls, a shareable bowl of bacon fried rice, and a Pepsi, my tab came out to a little over $80 without tip. Everything went great. I would come back again!

This place is excellent. I have sat in the dining room as well as the hibachi area and I was equally satisfied with both. The service was excellent. They kept our drinks topped off and our food arrived quickly. I will most definitely be returning next time I'm in the area.
