Stopped here for wine and true crime tours, LOVED IT! We returned a few days later and squeezed one last drink before returning back home. The service is great, the place is cute, the bathroom is hilarious. Definitely worth the stop for drinks.

Very cool Tiki Bar in Solvang. They had live music when I was there. The menu has a lot of options. The theming is next level. I also really liked the christmas decorations. I had Slots of Fun and my bf had Mulled Wine from the seasonal menu. Both were great.

I visited this bar from far away on a Friday night expecting to have a good time with my lady but it turned out to be such a frustrating experience. The service was insanely slow… it took forever just to get our first round of drinks. We had to flag down the servers multiple times and each time they seemed annoyed as if we were inconveniencing them. To make matters worse when the bill finally arrived I noticed I got overcharged but I didn’t say anything and I still left a tip. Some items were priced higher than what was listed on the menu. For the prices they’re charging the service should be way better and not overcharge. Definitely not worth the hassle nor coming back.

A little out place joint in a city known for its windmills and Danish roots. You will find one of the most kickass tiki lounges in Solvang, CA. Greeted by the proprietor Michael, he showed us his establishment with a welcoming spirit and showed the Aloha for my companions from Oahu. He even showed us his new acquisition, a vintage banner promoting a burlesque show in Waikiki. And to top it off the drinks were delicious. For what it’s worth High Roller Tiki Lounge is the place to be.

Bartender was very sweet and welcoming! The tiki atmosphere was on theme and eclectic, attention to detail from the drinks to the wall decor. They don’t serve food, but you’re welcome to bring food in or purchase charcuterie platters or hummus/pita from the establishment. Live music was an awesome surprise and the owner was friendly and inviting. A must stop when coming to or coming through Solvang!

This is a fun bar with great service and lively atmosphere. Went here during the week and enjoyed some fun drinks with friends. The atmosphere is festive, and music is rocking but not too loud so you can still chat. They also have a second room for big groups and live music!
Will definitely stop by again soon.

I liked the vibe here but I’ll just come out and say why I didn’t rate them higher. I ended up getting a Long Island which wasn’t bad but wasn’t on the menu. I had to wait 30 minutes for it and when I tried to go directly to the bar to order I was told I can’t do that and have to go through a server. After my wife and I’s half hour wait for our drinks we sat and talked and genuinely had a good time listening to I think the lady’s name was Cynthia sing. She was a good singer and we enjoyed listening, but when we ordered our next drink, the mermaid bowl to share, we waited another half hour for that. It was delicious, but my wife quit drinking about a quarter of the way through it. Her first drink got her tipsy and she was just done drinking, no problem there. But I ended up drinking 2/3+ of this bowl meant for three people and I didn’t feel much. I felt like they really pulled their punches on the alcohol content because it was very weak.
I’m a lightweight and thought it was weak so do with that what you will. The tables were sticky and gross and overall the staff just seemed like they they didn’t know what they were doing. The bartender seemed very inexperienced and turning me away at the bar to go see a server was just really strange. The performer Cynthia Ford I think her name was, was probably the main redeeming quality of the place, because while tasty, three drinks for 70$ and barely walking out with a light buzz was very disappointing. The atmosphere was great but next time I come to solvang, I’m sorry to say I’ll be drinking somewhere else.

After everything I said here your only correction was the time of my arrival?
I arrived around 7-7:30 and was literally the only customer in the room aside from the entertainer and a member of staff she was chatting with. It did get busy after a while but our first round was ordered in an empty establishment.

The folks there are very friendly and attentive. Even though the drinks are wine based, they were quite good. The decor is good. No food available but they don't mind if you bring in food from neighboring establishments. The entertainment the night we were there was very talented but not tiki and he moved around the room instead of staying on stage, which was uncomfortable. I got the impression people left sooner than they would have because of that. They had a good selection of souvenirs. We chose Mai Tai glasses.
