On our way to Yosemite, we were looking for a place to pick our lunch from. This seem like a nice option given the rating. So we went ahead and asked for our usual order at any Mediterranean place, falafel plate and chicken donor kebab wrap.

There were very few people in the restaurant for food, most of them were sitting with the there drinks on the cafe side. The cafe seemed more popular. The ambiance of this place was okay. There was a bit of grocery section too, stacked with spices, deli items etc. a little unorganised but not unthinkable 😬, given that this place had a lot going on.

Food wise, it was a little underwhelming.

The falafels were unusually chewy and dry even after adding sauces, hummus salad and rice were good. the chicken wrap was okay ish.

The best thing about the place though was it’s location, especially for all the people headed into the park.

Overall an okay experience. Next time I would either like to stop here to try coffee or tea.

I don't technically have to say much because if you are in the vicinity the smell is going to bring you in. The food here is delicious. Not simply a market, they make delicious meals and snacks that are unique and filling. The employees are so helpful and are always working so hard. Definitely worth the visit 🩷

The food at Habibi’s is nothing short of phenomenal. I had the pleasure of trying their Chicken Shawarma, Honeycomb Bites, Pistachio Milk Cake, Strawberry Delight Cheesecake, Mint2B Iced Coffee, and two traditional Meat Pies. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece. The Chicken Shawarma was incredibly flavorful and tender, with spices that transported me straight to the heart of the Mediterranean. The Honeycomb Bites were a perfect sweet treat, and the desserts – Pistachio Milk Cake and Strawberry Delight Cheesecake – were decadent and rich, yet balanced in sweetness. The Mint2B Iced Coffee was a refreshing and unique beverage that perfectly complemented my meal.

The Meat Pies deserve a special mention. They tasted so authentic and traditional, it was as if my Palestinian mother had made them herself. This level of authenticity is rare and deeply appreciated.

Service:
The service at Habibi’s is exemplary. The staff are warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. They are knowledgeable about the menu and take the time to make excellent recommendations. Their friendly demeanor and genuine care for their customers make dining here an absolute pleasure.

So the new owners are Yemeni, they did a wonderful job with remodeling. It looks twice as big as it used to! The food here is delicious and fresh, they have a good selection of Arabic groceries and halal meats too. The coffee was so yummy! I was really impressed.

when I tell you They stuff that TO-GO box to the brim, they put enough food in that box, to feed a small family. 😝 love it- we go atleast once a week. They never miss. Quality and quantity is always consistent

If you love falafels, this spot is pretty damn good. Been looking for one as good as the drive-in in downtown San Jose. This one is way better than any of the chain places I've tried around.
